  1. They were all unsigned on Sunday unless you asked. She wasn't even at her booth most of the day, so you couldn't get them signed if you wanted.
  2. Seriously though. 111 might be one of the best covers of the series. This might become Adlards #19. That's terrifying and beautiful. Love it.
  3. Thankfully there is SAGAH!!!!! I'm not a big fan of Saga. I love Revival but to say that it would be ongoing for years to come is a longshot. Revival should go for around 60 issues I was just reading that on another thread. I was thinking that if Revival continues to increase its sales, then it'll keep on trucking. If it was another walking dead (and that's a stretch), do you think they'd just get to issue #60 and say, "Ok boys, pack up...time to go!" Nah...they'll keep spinning ideas and giving the writers more money to keep the dollars coming in. You gotta understand that this writer isn't like a lot of others. He will put in 60 issues and then move on. He has already done it with Hack Slash. Not saying they might not change their minds, but seeing that he has already done it once its a good bet it will happen again. Nice thing is Seeley also wrote about 20+ one shots and minis with Hack Slash so it might happen with Revival as well. Although its not quite the same type of book. Agree. These are creator owned books, too, so the idea of another creative team jumping on just isn't feasible. It's what I love about Image. Most of the time, the creatives on the series are their to stay. It also leads to delays, but that's another story.
  4. It was on the cover of the most recent Previews mag. It's got Hickman, and It's an Image book with a #1 on it. Not much else, actually. There have been a few panel previews, but nada on the story. The hype you see is people trying to get a head start on speculation.
  5. Make you sure you get a CGC witness when she signs the Marriage certificate. MONIES Okay. This is absolutely genius.
  6. I figured i'd do something to pass the time. Shotgun wedding sounds about right. Maybe then I can get a commission, AMIRITE?
  7. I'm on my way to ECC and I'm sorry guys, but I'M PROPOSING TO FIONA. DON'T TELL MY WIFE.
  8. Glad I got mine at the $1.75 price each. Dang. That would have been nice This was readily available for awhile. At this price point , that price is a small risk to pay. Ditto. Glad I got in early, but now it looks like this won't be a huge surprise if it does well. I'm on board through issue three. Hoping for a good read more than anything.
  9. I think this will be an interesting weekend. With ECC kicking off, it's really the start of the heavy con season. All these books we've been talking about having so much momentum... Let's see if it's extended beyond these forums. I'll be interested to see the response Peter Panzerfaust, Nowhere Men, The Sixth Gun, etc get this weekend.
  10. I hope you are right and the print run is no higher than 20k Yeah-- wouldn't want the creators to make any money or support their families!
  11. I'm perfectly fine if they raise prices. Just don't say you'll get it in this time when that's not the case.
  12. Just got a submission back and both my #1's are 9.8's! Keeping for the collection. Wooooo!
  13. I think we just accept it because its the way it is, but modern subs are supposed to take 20 biz days, and you're at 5+ months. That's embarrassing.
  14. OK-- so if the rate of comics is too much, or the team is too small, stop accepting comics or lower the price since the service isn't up to par. at the very least, stop with the bogus timelines. It's embarrassing and they're clearly over their head.
  15. Day 10, and now scheduled for grading. I'm cool if it's a day or two late, but i feel for the folks sending in via slowboat. Yeesh. Day 13. Books have been graded. No idea on shipping yet, but at the very least, i'd love to get the grades. Rant time: Going on day 16. This will be the last time i send anything. Tired of waiting. Tired of the fact that turnaround times are an absolute joke for regular moderns (and essentially everything else). I'm over paying extra money for a faster service that's essentially on track with the regular turnaround time. What if i wanted to pay CGC 2 weeks after they graded my books? Nope! Tired of the fact that even certain books after going through encapsulation, and quality control will have label errors and incorrect info. I know i'm flaming, but I don't see how CGC can see a thread like this and not do anything about it. Total joke. The employees are really nice and helpful, but nothing about this makes me want to use their service ever again. But they're the only show in town, so good luck on things changing. Not even going to humor everyone with a PGX joke. Sigh.
  16. Reserve auction = passed reserve - 3k right now. How in the hell is this piece of "radio edit" cover up to 3K.
  17. True. While the shortsighted purchases make me nervous, I also bank on it when flipping to sell for original art!
