  1. Havent posted a sales thread in quite some time, so I figure I'll give It a go again. There will be anywhere from 150-200 raw books; a nice mix of mid-grade Silver and high grade Bronze, with discounts up to 50% off of OSPG. I'll be pretty busy scanning for the next few days, so I'll start the thread Friday night at 9pm CST. Look for the thread in the GA/SA/BA sales section. Hope to see you there. (thumbs u

    Brad. :headbang:

Due to an EXTRA loooong workday :frustrated: , my thread will be pushed back just a bit to a 9:30pm CST start tonight. I appreciate your patience

  3. Wow. What a haul. I thought Bakersfield Country Comics (or whatever) was the 1st appearance. Thanks for the info.

    Thanks.

The 9.6s and 9.8s were from an original owner collection.

The others were drek purchased from Ebay. Not sure why I even bothered to submit them.

:gossip:...helps to ensure the 9.6s/9.8s

  4. Went and looked through part of a collection yesterday. 6hrs and 1 sore back later I walked out with these rags......... :insane::screwy::insane:

The white logo of Solar #1 in the very bottom right corner looks to be a printing error and NOT a sunfade..... :cloud9:

And, yes. Most of these will be for sale very soon.... ;)

  5. :foryou:

I would still grab any high-grade Stevens books as they sell quite well and easily. But especially anything 9.4 or better.

As a matter of fact....... . I set up at a local show today, managed to scrounge up a few 9.4-9.8 Stevens books; around 10 or so. Will be for sale soon, maybe here, maybe C2E2. We'll see. ;)

  6. Macross #1 predates them all, Nov. 1984 ;) . And yep, Golgo 13 is difficult to find :insane: . Ive tracked down 3 copies of the polybagged book so far (thumbs u

what else can you tell me about the book?

also, you mentioned polybagged. you mean polybagged with the game, or were there copies of the comic polybagged solo?

did you purchase your copies relatively recently from dov on ebay (first copies I had personally seen), or elsewhere?

About the Golgo? Not much, 2 of my 3 copies are still sealed with the game also. I used to work for Funcoland waaaaaay back in the day. Had first shot at alot of neat merchandise. Sealed games were just a few of the perks I enjoyed. Mind you Nes was pretty much a dead system, but sometimes folks would walk in to trade in their games/systems and occasionaly there would be unopened copies. Right place, right time is all (thumbs u

  7. Here, then, are some more actually rare 90's books..

    The Ultraverse Golds.

Now, I don't mean Ultraforce, which is around in abundance, and only exists as a gold hologram cover...

I mean Hardcase, Mantra, Prime, etc.

In fact, Prime #1 Gold Hologram is the rarest Ultraverse book that exists. The rumored runs on these were 200-300 copies.

Impossible books, from a company that very few care about. ;)

Got em. ALL of em. LOTS OF EM
