you would think out of 37,000 copies there would be one that would fit the bill.
Perhaps there will...

Welcome to the internet, where people get offended.
speaking of which.
$65 for a Thief of Thieves 1? seriously. just explain how that makes any sense.
Supply, meet demand! Next question?!
-
only someone with a limited mental capacity would price Theif of Thieves #1 for $65 at a Convention.
The book left unsold btw.
I guess I should leave my raw copies at home then, sorry Motor City buyers.. Oh, wait a minute... They are all 9.8's!
That means they're $350 now. (thumbs u
-
I know the 128s cgc 9.8 are selling for around $170. Not sure what they are raw. I just picked up a 9.8 myself the other day.
try $300 plus.
+1 (thumbs u

4 total and I wouldn't have used any for the bottom of my cats litter box.
Reminds me of back in the day...when the Clone Saga was as hot as WD is now, and at a convention the dealer next to me, after watching me sell through a dozen copies of ASM #149 at just stupid prices, traded me his entire booth (6 long boxes of books, 25 sets of cards, and 2 dozen carded action figures) + $75 for my last copy of #149 which was no better than F/VF.
You have to love how insane some people can get in this hobby.
Wow, that was you? I ended up selling that #149 about a half hour later for $250. Made some dough and got to head home early that day. (thumbs u

I'm holding out. C2E2 is in less than 3 weeks and Motor City in May; gotta have enough WD luv to offer at the booth
-
i can't believe the weeklies are selling for BIG money. i just sold 1,2, and 19 for $75. and the guy wants to buy my other weekly set. i'm thinking i should sell. i can't imagine these will be worth money in the long run.
These are the Marvel Tales of Image. Sell them as fast as you can for these prices and don't look back.
i think you're right. does anyone know the print runs on these?
Yup
-
Just got back from a show and guess what the hottest title was
Did pick up about 40 copies of various issues in high grade before it opened but everything was near depletion very quickly...
The rattiest copies of 19 were selling for $200...selling not just on the wall...
How many copies of 19 did you see?
-
Bleeding cool hast WD 19 sale as their lead story right now...
I wonder what a triple sketched quad signed would bring...
1 meeeeeeeeleeeeuhhhn dollars!!!

Greed
Capitalism

i think the weekly is getting a pretty bad rap...doesn't help when ebayers are confusing the weekly with the original run.
The Weekly's should have never been printed.
Explain....
-
yeah, could well be upwards of 35k, i can't see it much higher though....has anyone still seen stacks and stacks of the book in their LCS? I know Branget mentioned he waded through 200. I only have 4 stores near me and they're all sold out.
I visited a few stores over the weekend. 2 were sold out, 3 had anywhere from 20-40 on the shelf.
-
For those that aren't already aware:
Estimated Print runs based on orders for :
Walking Dead 19......17,222
Walking Dead Weekly 19.....4,619
Food for thought..

If she moves like lightning and does a bunch of acrobatic moves I may agree.
However, a katana, in the hands of someone with even a HS level fencing background is pretty damn believable as a light weight and effective decapitation weapon against a slow moving target.
I think most folks with a small amount of training could handle several of the walkers from this universe without straining believability any more than Carl, who had not taken but a couple of shot in his life nailing a headshot from 15 yards out, or Herschel and his magic shotgun.
"Hershel and his magic shotgun." Isn't that the wildly unpopular children's book sequel to "James and the Giant Peach?"
Yes, it was. Not nearly as popular, though. Children can't appreciate the need to never reload your buckshot.
I'm not surprised at all that Hershel has a magic shotgun. He probably purchased it the same place Ash bought his 19 shot Winchester. Shop smart, shop S-Mart.....YA GOT THAT!?!

A 9.8 SS of Walking Dead #19 just sold for $999.
That's crazy, right?
I saw that. I'm sure JJ doesn't think it's crazy.
Believe it or not, before next season hits, I believe a BLUE label 9.8 will go for a $900-$1k It will happen....... This property is so fekking hot, I am just in awe of prices being realized.
-
Just a few of the books i got back last week, and a couple I got in today....
Some stinkers for your viewing pleasure
Legit shot at 9.8 with a resub... (thumbs u
and new as of today..
And i think this one MIGHT have a shot at 9.8 if resubbed....

Doesn't seem there are many to choose from.
I think the quality at MileHigh is great but the prices are outrageous.
Mycomicshop has amazing prices but the quality can be hit or miss or really miss.
Any other options?
Very soon, everyone will have another site to purchase accurately graded books from....
Hrah??? what site?
All in good time (thumbs u

I understand people want it, but why is it listed on ebay from 125 -750? Is it really that hard of a book to find? My friend is looking to buy one the poor bastage stopped collecting gi joe at #150 .
Wait about 6 months until after the movie and blu-ray comes out,as it will go down in price. The same thing happens all the time when a big budget movie hypes the comics prices up. You actually can make some cash off this PHENOMENON if you know when to buy and sell.

I predict a blue label 9.8 will hit $350 by years end
