  1. The cover says something like "Goster & Koblish"(sp). I think the reprints interior is the only McFarlane art for that issue. The cover is just a swipe by some other dudes. If I remember correctly.........the cover of G.I. Joe Special #1 was a Spider-Man swipe by Phil Gosier and Scott Koblish. The interiors are the "alternate art" for issue #61 originally done by McFarlane. It in not necessarily a reprint, as the McFarlane art was never originally used for issue #61. Issue #60 was the only McFarlane art included in the run. There, I think that about sums it up
  2. As I recall, I have a FEW left ...What raw grade would you like it in and what are you looking to spend???
  3. .....maybe 1....maybe 6! We shall see...
  4. Maybe YOU won't, but I have 5 raw 9.4's and 2 raw 9.6's that wait silently for the MM explosion that is destined to come Ask October(Andy), he's seen them. SHARP, SHARP, SHARP K I KNEW you were going to chime in when he said that! Yes, I have seen them and yes, they are VERY sharp. I don't remember if I looked at them closely, but I do recall they were all at least NM. Was one of those in the batch you set aside after the pre-screen? As I carefully thumb through my HORDE of FUNNYBOOKS, I sense....yes I can feel it.....1 stunning copy of MM #23 soon to be sent off to CGC and returned to me as the CREME DE LA CREME....THE HIGHEST GRADED...THE TOP CENSUS COPY PUT IT ON THE BOARRRRD......YES!!!!! This cannot be allowed to happen! But how sharp is sharp??? Could you shave with it??? Perhaps you should try! If I WERE to use it in the form of a razor, I'd be afraid I'd dull it down to a paltry 9.2 and that just won't do sir, no, that just won't do!!!

  7. Don't have a scan yet, but here is the auction I won a few weeks ago..... Sandman #50 PLATINUM Double Cover....... Soon to be sent off and slabbed K
  8. Yup Yup. I just picked up 4 more copies of MM #23 in a trade last week and they are in SOOPER shape . Also, ALOT harder to find than #15. K
  9. Quit draggin' your feet already and pony up! One of the few series that is actually "worth it". I know, I know! I think we talked about this series like 6 months ago and I still haven't picked it up. If you REALLY want to read them, PM me and maybe I'll let you BORROW a set of mine ... K
  10. Begging is my specialty! Sure, as soon as I can get to my copy of #61, I'll post scans to show the difference K
  11. I beg to differ. It, in fact, reprints #61, but whith NEW artwork my McFarlane. k
  12. Like I said, "the supposed" # . I'm certainly not trying to deceive anyone on its rarity . The info is much appreciated Greg K
  13. This would be my auction fellas. The cover was done by Phil Gosier, McFarlane only did the interiors for it. The artwork was originally scheduled for issue #61, but it never saw print until this special. I came upon the "supposed" print run # from a past auction. k
  14. How much did this one set you back? I've been looking to pick one up for a while now, I just havn't found a NM or better raw copy for the right price yet k
  15. As said before, the Star Wars books have the "cross-over collectiblity factor" with the movie fanatics that most of the other variants don't. At least, that's the way I see it. K
  16. There was a Diamond TPB version on Ebay just over a week ago. I had it on watch just to see where it would end and I think it sold for around $80. K
  17. So the seller in Florida who found 150 35 centers did not/does not have any Hulks. That's too bad. I have one though...... K
