Well, it has been a few weeks since I tried listing books, so time to light it up!!! I have some nice raw Miller and Byrne runs, along with other assorted goodies coming up for sale tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Daredevils 159-181 minus a couple issues, Dark Knight Returns 2-4, multiple copies of Batman 404-407, X-Men from 120-143 minus a few issues.

Glad you pointed that out (thumbs u . Would have hated to have a potentially dissatisfied buyer on my hands for an improperly listed description . I went ahead and mentioned the defect in my auction listing. Whether or not it will affect the outcome....

Sell me one of those beautiful copies...i promise if you do ill stop asking Well, if you manage to hit the BIN, looks like you'll have one As soon as I get the chance to post scans on Ebay, I'm pretty sure the book will be sold. I have had 5 or 6 requests for scans since I started the auction, so its only a matter of time. Actually, I would have posted scans sooner, but my freetime this week has been nil. I should have books scanned and uploaded by tonight. We'll see what happens :o You think it will go for the current price? If so, that would be amazing. I wouldn't know where to price my extra copy. Although I would not expect it to sell for this price, I wouldnt at all be surprised. It is unfortunate that I decided not to sell this copy here on the boards, but I would essentially be "leaving money on the table" if I didnt sell it via Ebay. There are some books, even moderns like this one, that you just cant give up so cheap, ya know?! Many have PM'd me on my copies and thier availability, but I just cant "deal" on the price. And if someone wants this copy, a very nice one, they will have to pay, simple as that. And I dont mind holding onto it if it doesnt sell now. From my point of view, the value and price will only INCREASE with time . Just my thoughts.... If I had that copy I would do the same. I think it's much more profitable to sell scarce, HG moderns on ebay than it is here (esp. when it comes to Bone #1 in the last few months). In terms of those two $600 raw copies that would be lucky to hit 9.0, I'm sure the price you've set is being considered by those underbidders. Bottom left corner of the back cover, is that a crease? Now that I look at the book closer, it does have the slightest crease , which barely breaks color.

Just got the grades from a 20 piece submission I sent in last month. These all came from the 3000 piece original owner collection I will have for sale at Chicago next week. Will receive this batch next week and will all be available for sale at the show. Pretty happy with the results: Pre-graded all books at 9.8, a few misses but most were right on All have WHITE PAGES!!!! Batman 368 9.8 405 9.0 407 9.8 426 9.8 427 9.6 Killing Joke 2 copies both 9.8 Detective 542 2 copies 9.4, 9.6 (no registered GPA sales ) Secret Wars 8 9.8 Ronin 1 9.8 2 9.8 3 9.6 5 9.8 (thumbs u Silver Surfer vol. 3 1 4 copies all 9.8 :banana: :banana: Spider-Man vs. Wolverine 1 (1987) 9.8 Watchmen 2 9.6 All in all, 14 out of 20 in 9.8. Was REALLY hoping for the Bats 427 to hit the mark, but it fell just short . But, if this is any indication of the quality of the collection, some deals are to be had on the remaining books come next week!!

Nice job as I said previously I picked my #307 9.4 for $3.00, the #303 seems hard to find, there is a seller who wants $80 for a VF+ raw - if I'm paying that price I think I need it graded Sold Nik or October ...I do not remember which 8.5 or so 303 a couple years ago....for a few dollars. Just did not care about variants at that time...... which in turn was sold to me.....I now have 4, but alas, no 307

Although I do know the fella who owns the pair of CGC 9.4's, actually held em pre-slab and post, solid copies they are...but he wants WAAAAAAY TOOOOO much. I will gladly settle for this copy . Now to find a #1... I believe I saw that there are two 35 cent versions of both books....... so you need three more books. Just when I thought I was getting somewhere.....uuuuuggggghhhhh!!!!!1

Question: With the 75c and 95c Marvels, are there differences other than the price area, or are there other indicators? All the Canadian editions are newstand versions but I believe that otherwise they are identical. They are identical. There are some weird price variations - $1.25 books, $1.60, $2.25 covers, that sort of thing, with odd fonts. I have to go through all the ones I just got, and I'll post some scans. I have DCs, Marvels, and Archies. GI Joe 21?.............
