Why do the Micronauts not get the love the transformers do?
TRMN8R5 replied to NoMan's topic in Comics General
Dern. Wish I'd known that. You coulda'/shoulda' bought the Baron Karza I had for sale. Sold both the complete Karza and accessories, as well as a complete Andromeda and accessories; some time early last year, IIRC. They were both toys that I purchased myself as a kid back when they were BRAND NEW! Not sure exactly where I got the horsie, but I still distinctly remember grabbing the last NIB Karza off the shelf at a local CSC discount store ... -
1994 VVSS BLOODSHOT #0 signed by Kevin VanHook and DickGiordano with COA UNread/UNcirculated 9.6+ $75 ***The one "conditional issue" I see is apparently SOMEone that was handling the Gold Sharpie had some paint on their fingers when they were handling the book and got some spots of "fleck" on the back cover. I have NO idea how much that affects an overall grade; but the rest of the book is absolutely fantastic.

1993 Valiant BLOODSHOT #1 "Gold chest halo printing ERROR" variant UNread/UNcirculated 9.6/9.8 $125 (2 copies available) ***This has been a rather over-looked error variant for quite some time, with the exception of a handful of VF boardies that noted the error. This printing error left (or created) a prominent full gold circle around the red emblem on Bloodshot's chest, which is noticably smaller; which makes me wonder why more people didn't pick up on it immediately. IMNSHO, this is a waaaay more significant error variant than when people lost their minds about the X-O #0 Ivory Valiant logo error .

And, the last bit of SPAWN toys I'll be listing actually has some "interesting" history behind it. There's many of you that might remember that early on, Todd named characters in SPAWN after some real people he actually knew. In particular: Al Simmons. And, also early on, the real Al Simmons was signing many McFarlane books and memorabilia as the character "Al Simmons". I guess, originally, this was okay with Todd. But, apparently, at some point since Todd's stuff skyrocketed in value, and he became much more popular as an artist, the real Al Simmons wanted to cash in on Todd's success, and wanted royalties for said items with his name on them. What-ev's . Anyway, this next item is one of "those" Al Simmons-signed items from when he was in actual attendance at the '94 (?) SDCC, IIRC. Also of extremely important note is that this car does NOT have any actual bats on the hood, like all the normal production ones do (like the other two I'm listing here). So, without further ado: 1993 Hot Wheels SPAWN Mobile funny car with "Al Simmons" auto, RARE NO bats variant NIP $75 (***FYI: The item is still "New-in-Pack"; NO cracks; but overall card is slightly faded out; mainly back of card; has some minor "shelf wear"; front blister is clear; but back side is ambering out.)
