  1. - 1979 Marvel THE MICRONAUTS (1st series) straight run issues #1-#42 Annuals #1 and #2 & Whitman variants for issues #2 and #3 $225 ***After a good handful of different threads regarding the Micronauts, I finally decided to get off my *SQUEE!* and actually list a collection of them I've had since I was a kid. This is a straight run of the Micronauts, starting up waaaay back in January of 1979. Obviously I'm biased, but I think this is an awesome "starter" set into the original Micronauts Universe. For provenance's sake, I have owned all of these books since their original release!! I got the Whitman variants in a polybagged 3-pack at a little local five and dime store and I was hooked. Then after a couple more issues, I actually had a subscription for the next three years via Marvel-direct for issues #6-#42. My only regret is I didn't keep it another year to try and finish out the series, which actually ended with issue #59. So, in this "starter" collection, you will be getting a straight run of ALL issues from #1 through #42; BOTH annuals #1 and #2; and the rare Whitman variants for issues #2 and #3. 46 books in all. Given that I got these so incredibly long ago; read most of them several times; as well as them going through multiple moves over the years while I was in the Navy; a good handful of the books are really more reader and/or completionist copies. Even so, there actually are at least a few that are still in very nice condition for 45 year old comic books. There are NO 9.8 gems here; but there are at least a few 9.2-ish books scattered throughout. Again, I am absolutely NOT trying to call this collection any more than what I'm selling it to be: a straight reader/completionist run of 46 issues of a really fun series.
  2. Actually, right from the rip, it was/is a security issue. Keep in mind, there's only so much that can be done to help protect the members of this community from potential spammers, and especially scammers. And the 50-post count starter for new members is one of the few we have. She ain't fool-proof by any stretch; but it's one of the few we have. And, honestly, from what I've read here, you totally missed the point of it. It sure as hell wasn't to keep you from being able to list any/all WTB's that you may have to help add to your own collection. Unless I'm somehow completely off the mark here, it's actually set up to prevent new (potential/alleged) scammers from honing in and possibly duping boardies here out of their hard-earned cash. NOT saying you are one of those potential scammers; but as has been pointed out, and even you yourself admitted: you've barely just hit over the 12-hour mark as a member of this community, and you already have over the 50-post count; specifically with the intent of hitting up the WTB forum. Regardless of your intent, I encourage you to look at it from the opposite side to see how that looks to everyone else; especially given recent 2024 events. You don't have to agree. Just hoping you'll SEE. HTH, -TRM
  3. - Stephen King The Wind Through the Keyhole: A Dark Tower Novel hardcover FIRST Edition (Scribner 2012) UNread and in IMMACULATE condition $50
  4. - Stephen King The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three hardcover FIRST Edition (Grant 1987) $350 - Stephen King The Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands hardcover FIRST Edition (Grant 1991) $250 - Take the pair for $550 ***BOTH books are in exceptional UNread/UNcirculated condition; but neither copy has their respective dust jacket. To this day, I still never figured out why my wife always removed the dust jackets from our King First Editions before she put them on the book shelf in our library. I think her thought process was if they were removed, they couldn't get dinged up, creased, or torn. She was right about that part of it. Unfortunately, I still have yet to find the dust jackets ANYwhere. If I had, the pricing would be MUCH higher for King books in this grade.
  5. - 1994 Fleer Ultra the Amazing Spider-Man complete base set, cards #1 through #150 $OLD via PM (3 sets still available) Thank you ! -TRM
  6. - Marvel 1992 X-Force #11 Direct Edition UNread/UNcirculated WHITE pages 9.6 $20 (***1st appearance of the "real" Domino) - Marvel 1992 X-Force #15 Direct Edition UNread/UNcirculated WHITE pages 9.6 $15 ***Take the pair for $30
  7. - Marvel 1993 "Fatal Attractions" COMPLETE set parts #1-#6 Direct Edition UNread/UNcirculated WHITE pages ALL 9.6 $OLD via PM ***This is not your standard completionist or "reader" set. These are excellent copies that were all received personally by me directly from my distributor. They all still look and smell like they did on the days I received them. If, like me, you loved collecting comics during the early 90's, I promise these books will make you remember "those days" with at least a lil' bit of nostalgia ...
  8. - Marvel 1993 X-Factor #92 Direct Edition "distorted" (?) hologram error 9.4 $75 ***In the interest of full disclosure, I have absolutely NO idea what this actually is on the hologram. I have been through literally stacks upon stacks of ALL the books from the Fatal Attractions storyline, and have never, ever seen another hologram that had this type of error; only the blue "error", like the one above. When I first saw it, I thought it looked like the Thing put his thumb on it and took a picture. To be clear: this thing; whatEVER it is; is NOT "on" the hologram; it's actually IN the hologram. If ANYone here can shed some light on this, uhm, "thing", by all means, please do so. But, AFAICT, this is a legit one-of-one type dealio; for whatever that's worth.

  10. I think the shelves were trying to hold up Todd from tipping over.
  11. There is absolutely ZERO chance that's a legit 9.4 !!
  12. - 1992 Impel X-Men Series 1 and 1993 Skybox X-Men Series 2 GRAND MASTER set $OLD via PM Thanks a pants-load !! -TRM ***Working on finalizing another one of these to hopefully be posted soon ...
  13. You couldn't be more right. In fact, not even necessarily "lacking"; just truly horribly made . Granted, most of King's work has been not only extremely difficult to turn into film; but the end product is absolute krap (Firestarter--either version; Night Shift; The Langoliers; The Tommyknockers; Rose Red; Silver Bullet; IT--the original; etc, etc, etc). But absolutely nothing that's been put onto King film will EVER be worse than the complete dumpster fire that they slammed together for The Dark Tower . I was so looking forward to that hitting the screen; especially after I heard who was playing the iconic characters of Randall Flag (The Man in Black) and Roland Deschain. Good Lord, I still can't get over what an ocean of complete garbage juice that "movie" turned out to be . ***On the flip side, I thought the mini-series for 11/22/63 was exceptional .
