  1. 122 has been at the printers for a bit. Good issue, but can't wait until Reboot!
  2. The commissions sign with from a show he did. He isn't trying to get online commissions in fact he is behind on those as well. One question for you. How many copies of Nowhere Men did you buy? Did you have any of the rare variants?
  3. Can't speak to the rest of his situation, but one of those job losses is on him. Bootstraps not blogs. You're right, I mean there is always an exact time table for someone to deal with mental illness. I'll say this, I'm severe ADD was diagnosed in 1983 as such. I never in a million years could produce a comic book on a monthly basis when I was on my own with no local support to keep me on task.
  4. Nate is getting help. That's been addressed for a while. I've spent a decent deal of time with him recently. He's a good guy, and was getting in a better place mentally. But with two job losses and losing his apartment, I'd say anyone would have a difficult time dealing with that.
  5. When has there ever been a reboot before? There have been jumping on points that were advertised as such but never a full reboot. This will be the first appearance of Reboot.
  6. Oh man I haven't chased variants and second prints. I'm not sure I'm in for that challenge or not. That means you're closer than I am The Invincible Returns rarer variants almost never surface anymore. It's insane. Very rare to see the #50 Adams cover as well.
  7. Someday maybe the market will correct and #12 will be the key over #11. It's a lower printed issue, and bigger impact to the book in #12 than #11.
  8. Got this TWD related Invincible page from Ryan Ottley this weekend. Got the pencils and inks of the first Michonne in Invincible from issue #97.
  9. Great to see everyone this weekend at Special Edition NYC. We were unbelievably slammed all weekend. Will try to get some videos I took edited, but my tripod broke day one, and honestly we were so busy with sales that it wasn't easy to do that and handle video.
  10. I'm going to guess this is for Dinosaurus. His first was #68 then Universa was #69. Powerplex was #59 as well. Good 10 issue run introducing Conquest, Universa, Powerplex, and Dinosaurus in a very short period.
  11. 13 falls in the lower print run. 14 and on were a strong uptick of orders. 10 was the lowest ordered issue, followed by 12, and then 11. Villain first appearances haven't garnered much for demand, but the biggest would be #16 for Angstrom, #44 for Annissa, #61 Conquest, and Invincible Returns for Thragg.
  12. Dragon is in Invincible's universe. Invincible is in his but they are separate. Events in one book do not cross over.
  13. You coming to Phoenix comic-con with Ryan in a couple of weeks? Unfortunately no. I live in Massachusetts so Special Edition is an easy bus ride. Phoenix is a flight, and I'd love to go but can't swing that. I'm pretty much just at the Northeast shows with him.
  14. Welcome aboard to the new readers. Check out the official facebook group too sometime at www.facebook.com/invincibleuniverse If anyone is going to Special Edition : NYC stop by Ryan's table and say hi. I'll be sitting there with him.
  15. I personally love the Silk. It's so Pitarra.
  16. Hoping to see the proof to 120 soon. I know Ryan has been done for a bit, so inks and colors should be done soon.
  17. Did any stores have store exclusive versions to the FCBD Divergence other than Newbuy Comics? They had all locations and their logo printed on their covers, not a stamp.
  18. It adds to the visual, but I don't feel like it is a necessary draw. Invincible is a great comic book that could be easily done in the same format/ratings violence wise as Man of Steel. Hell the Superman/Zod fight was the closest we have seen to the Conquest arc live action yet.
  19. I consider myself a decent collector, and don't feel the need to have a 9.8 of #1. I have two copies of #1, and one is graded a 9.4 but I only got that because it was only 70.00.
