Vampirella 23 6.0 $10 Did you see the art for this cover go through the Heritage Auction last week. Bad timing, I would have like to make a run at it. Great Sanjulian Egyptian cover. Vampi stars in "Queen of the Bayou Parish" of course by Gonzalez, and Maroto just keeps kicking it up a notch. Two copies tonight.

Vampirella 19 6.0 $30 The annual issue that everyone wants. This and the first issue Frazetta cover are the two most recognizable Vampirella images there are. This one was drawn by Gonzalez, and painted by Enric before Gonzalez took up painting. The result is glorious. This book came from ComicConnect aka Metropolis Comics graded as a 7.5, so you get their label as a bonus. One of these grades is correct, and I'll give you a hint: mine. Scans really nice, and all you can hope for in a 6.0 eye appeal. Just this one tonight.

Vampirella 13 7.0 $25 More Sanjulian cover greatness and Gonzalez Vampi, and we get our first look at Jose Bea's art. Fantastic. Remember those who are new, the white covers tend to hide flaws on the scanner, but accentuate the black cover flaws. That is not a moisture stain on the back, just some kind of stacking "schmootz". Two to pick from.

Vampirella 11 6.0 $30 A stand-out Frazetta Witch cover of course, the first appearance of long-time supporting character, Pendragon. I guess we have a little theme tonight, this is a copy that presents like a really strong 8.0, but has a water stain on the back cover that is also visible on the corner of the inside front, but you don't see it on the front cover. Two point deduction, so a great looking copy for your money. Just one tonight.

The painting is amazing.
The Captain Future run is awesome.

Just spectacular!

Appears to be Jay Disbrow art. He was working on an opus of Ancient Rome many years ago if memory serves.

I have some nice Weird Tales Pulps in the auction if anyone is interested.
Stay safe

Hey Guys,
Just a note that my Weird Tales pulps are now open on the HA Signature auction for the end of this month. They listed 27 fine issues in one lot, not happy.
Check them out let me know what you think.

Thanks Guys. It may be available on line not sure. I published three issues and loved every minute of it. I Worked closely with Jay on art and dialogue but it was largely his baby. We planned to publish more issues but i was convinced by Diamond [distributor] to switch to four color on issue three. The additional costs just put me in a position to loose money. We used a special screen process and special paper on our black and white issues which I think worked well. Upon reflection should have stayed black and white.
If any one wants a copy just PM me and I will see if I can find some.
