  1. I really liked it myself. Had a bit of everything and sets up a lot of possible future storylines. I don't know how but I swear it feels like Ryan's art gets better and better every issue.
  2. Cool so this series is taking place between the Jupiter's Legacy arcs http://shelf-life.ew.com/2015/01/20/mark-millar-on-jupiters-circle-the-heroic-side-of-superheroes-has-been-missing/ "Millar has announced Jupiter’s Circle, a 10-issue companion series with art from Wilfredo Torres set to release in between Legacy’s first and second halves. Described as “Mad Men meets SuperFriends,” Jupiter’s Circle is designed to be a quieter series than Jupiter’s Legacy. According to Millar, Circle focuses on what happens between the panels of classic Silver Age heroics—the doubts and fears of the stoic, square-jawed heroes, their personal lives, and the ways they are just as frail and full of doubt as their children will turn out to be."
  3. Ahhhhhh black covers! They look fantastic but I hate fingerprints

  6. Wow, very cool. Whoa... might have to move this from my toilet reading pile to a safe place on the shelf.
  7. Read it last night and loved it, really seemed to bring everything into focus. Tons of great action moments. I really want a pet robot dog now
  8. Wow looks like fun! we could always use some more SAGA merch. I know it's hard enough just putting the comic out but I'd love if IMAGE would put out more merch for some of their comics...seems like it wouldn't be too tough I mean I hear that Todd McFarlane guy knows a thing or two about toys. I just want a Lying Cat plushie.
  9. o0o what is it Rob we should do a group invincible commission or something for a nice screen print or poster. I see you up in that Back to the Future one from EB
  10. I'd love if Ryan put out a larger format art book with all his comissions + doodles + scribble game he does with his son. I think he could pretty easily fund a kickstarter for it, especially if he had some tiers with OA
  11. As far as I remember there is just the 3. The last time I saw him sell his older sketchbook he put up his last copy on ebay and it went for a pretty good price.
  12. Hahah awesome I haven't been able to snag anything from Ottley for a while now. Wanted a couple pages but from 115 but I was too slow I hope he keeps adding a few things here and there in his store in the future. The last Invincible related thing I got was from Chip Zdarsky

  14. SAGA #26 story: BRIAN K. VAUGHAN art / cover: FIONA STAPLES MARCH 4 / 32 PAGES / FC / M / $2.99 Gwendolyn's quest takes an interesting turn
  15. Hahah awesome, yeah i'm definetly going to do this as well. Maybe order a few extra and shove them in the back of Walking Dead hardcovers at the LCS and Bookstores around town.
  16. Yeah at this price, I might see how much it costs to put a copy in every person's file at my LCS.
  17. I"ve never had a chance yet to read Goon but it's onto my To-do list. Hoping Darkhorse comes around and puts out a hardcover collection in 2015 as they've been going back and doing a lot of HC collections lately. I know there was some put out a while ago but those are all OOP and expensive.
  18. INVINCIBLE #118 STORY: ROBERT KIRKMAN ART / COVER: RYAN OTTLEY, CLIFF RATHBURN & JEAN-FRANCOIS BEAULIEU MARCH 25 24 PAGES/FC/T+ $0.25 ONLY TWENTY FIVE CENTS! Invincible and Atom Eve set off on the adventure of a lifetime: PARENTHOOD! They’ve taken to the stars and left their troubles on Earth behind them. 19. Only one way to find out, throw em up on the auction block
  20. There was a few factors I think on the success of all this OA, specifically for this issue. - This issue was straight up incredible - There really isn't a bad page in this issue - They are all selling because people like to buy pages with their fav characters doing cool stuff. There is a lot of cool stuff happening in this issue. Although a page of characters standing around talking might still sell, something with some action usually is more desirable. Not sure about everyone else but personally i'm not a huge fan of just penciled pages. I can appreciate them but I usually don't buy them. The fact that these come with Cliff's inks is a HUGE plus for me. As far as pricing goes I think Ryan's stuff is pretty spot on for pricing. He seems to price the regular panel pages at a good price that he still gets a good chunk of money but it's still at a price that a large portion of his fans could afford. His DPS and Covers are a lot more expensive but I feel if he can command the price then all the power to him.
  21. Yeah, that was my favourite one! Wasn't quick enough to grab it
