  1. Right, but so far auctions has not caused big problems… unless the marketplace appropriate section does not becomes cluttered with auctions they just work smoothly.
  2. I understand 1Cool’s doubts, as often confusion stems from the best intentions, but in this case I just added an option to the rules, without skipping any. Bidders knew beforehand that a highest bid would have been mandatory but not necessarily enough, so it’s a very different case compared to a reserve format, which here could be manipulated as it’s not automated like eBay’s engine system.
  3. BTW I have the strong impression CAL was just there trying to get some attention/affection as usual, heh?
  4. It was obviously an exception and the final criteria was not arbitrary, so I don’t think it sets potential problems – aside from that, I would never introduce a reserve price format here: it would be unusable and would cause a lot of potential stir. (thumbs u
  5. Participate and write your Warlock story and/or experience in my FF#67 auction thread and win the two italian edition books as a gift! Or better: participate also with a bid (ending this evening 9:00 PM board time) and win the VFNM copy auctioned as well… http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8288816#Post8288816
  6. Hey! It wasn’t your fault. Besides, I always try to sell it for above what it averages since I know deep inside I want to keep it… My keeper is not bad, anyway, a FNVF or so.
  7. My Uncle once was driving home and saw a guy on the side of the road selling Cashmere sweaters for $20. He bought one and drove home. When he got there he was all excited and showed it to his wife. At which point he took it out of the bag... and it was just the front of the shirt. Thankfully your uncle was not Uncle Scrooge, otherwise he would have tracked the seller everywhere until he’d have found him!
  8. Very nice of you Matteo, so now we have Matthew covered from Spain as well!
  9. Aww… If Tim has the ASE I think I might have given him my copy. I still have one or two Warlock ASE books, I will check anyway.
  10. The Macc Ghost Rider is very fascinating! Love the color scheme and the graphic adaptation. And your #129 collection… very nice. I have to see if I have the ASE with Warlock Marvel (Premiere #1-2) – I think I still have it. (thumbs u
  11. But I recall in other issues (later ones, probably) he expresses his favor for classic rock too. Sinatra… we must alert Buzzetta!
  12. Bob Marley? With the Thing around it might be more likely rock'n'roll!
  13. Setting aside for a minute the current question, one of the (big) problems I have with these modern (or post-modern) definitions, is their presumption to define in a clear cut way things like "meaningful personal relationships".
  14. So much for my sense of humour… Well, it might be the single book of which I have had more copies ever. I even damaged two copies personally!
  15. I'm gonna play...just gotta write my story I’d love to have you in, Brock, even if you decide to resell it and keep a GD- copy for your own collection.
  16. Now auctioning a Fantastic Four #67 VFNM OWW – in a peculiar way: (Auction ends in two days time). http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8288816#Post8288816
  17. I just recovered from the flu (thanks everyone!) and I decided to auction my only left copy of Fantastic Four #67 here in a fun way. Check it, if you like: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8288848&Main=365848#Post8288848
  18. Added a Mixed assortment thread in the "Mixed" section, so if one buys he/she can combine the shipping. (thumbs u http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8288065#Post8288065
  19. you are never alone ... Matthew 28:20 ..." observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Great st. Paul… And to cheer Jimmers up a bit… here’s my lower grade Spyder #3 (with the first italian Mr. A) if he still wants it. God bless…
