  1. This thread is exciting, not necessarily only in a good way: it gives you a sense of "magic" but at the same time drains your energies… P.S. Where is Kav? Does he post during the evening only? If so, I will more than often miss him…
  2. Or at least he can list what’s more substantial and leave some room for "surprise freebies", so people will take the offer for what it is. I think it’s doable…
  3. good points but I'll let the fire marshall Swick chime in He already did: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7840754#Post7840754
  4. Yes, more or less you know that Jason will match the value and possibly more, so we just need a taker.
  5. I agree but Swick is basically right in saying we can’t remove or change the rules with such ease. Anyway, a workaround has been offered for the present situation, so we have to see if Webslinger or Stanley take it (Webslinger did not post the emoticon but already said "yes").
  6. Post a cool Spidey offer for poor Hector…
  7. We can't really make exceptions just out of "fairness" to everyone and following the rules. Damn lawyers. But nothing is stopping Jason from offering up a Youngblood #1 or whatever book he chooses with intentions to "throw in some extras" if people name what kind of stuff they collect. Hence the OK!
  8. The maker of rules can temporarily suspend or alter the rules… Just look at what happens when you have miracles.
  9. I’m sure that he will try his best to please.
  10. Considered we know how Jason is fair and good with the boxes and that Web Slinger was willing to take one, maybe we could make a "one and only exception" while the tree is still young?
  11. I know I will regret having you take my offer, as you always put up awesome offer and I won’t be eligible to take it! BTW, why do you think I had a duplicate? When I saw it I decided «I have to have it», and there was none at the horizon, so when I found two (from different sellers) I bought both (and overpaid for at least one of the two! ).
  12. Sir, you know your stuff and I’ll see if I can find some other italian item related to the Cold War to throw in. (not sure, so take it as just an idea for now… ).
  13. You’re right, but it would have been a double shipping cost for you, that’s why I said if we make some deal I could have sent it to him later on, but as you prefer. (thumbs u
  14. Offers have been consolidated in the first post, if there is the need to bump them. (thumbs u
  15. Now I have to go out: I will combine the offers in a single post and adjust the thumbnails size later, so Harvey can put it in the second post.
  16. In fact, I wasn’t particularly interested in the She-Hulk (I sold mine time ago), so I might send it to Meeklo next time the occasion arises. I seemed to get he would have loved one… (thumbs u Option B Adding a second option of assorted graphic novels. I cover the first $20 shipping (which should suffice for these). EDIT: Consolidated with the main offer on previous page. Option A taken by jaeldubyoo.
  17. Ah, and since Tyler told me he will cover the first $20 shpipping, my offers will have free shipping as well (unless specified). This means I can add this essay about a period of the Golden Age, so you can take two of the above pictured books plus the essay (book is in NM condition with dust jacket). (thumbs u
  18. Thanks Tyler, I was worried about the Avengers… I already have a pair of the books you generously offered in low grade, so I thought it would have been a nice way to upgrade. Two options, one Golden Age, another one Copper/Modern independent graphic novels. Option A - The Communist Threat Take any two of the books below plus the hc essay book "Comic Books and America". Shipping included to everywhere. Marvel Family #77 - VG- The well-known "Communist Threat" cover, which showed the Golden Age was gone for Captain Marvel and family. The story is somewhat related as King Kull menaces the Kids' United Nations (led by Billy Batson). Treasure Chest v18 #2 - VG First installment of the classic "This Godless Communism" storyline with great art by Reed Crandall. Journey Into Mystery #93 - VG (some color touch and glue on spine) First apperance of the Radioactive Man, one of your most beloved soviet villains, with gorgeous art by Jack Kirby (inked by Chic Stone, I think). Comic books and America - NM (in original dust jacket) An interesting essay. --- Option B Assorted graphic novels, take all three. I cover the first $20 shipping (which should suffice for these). Violent Cases (1st US edition) - VFNM (or better) Early Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean Brought to Light (Eclipse, 1989, 1st Printing) - VFNM “A graphic docudrama”. Softcover edition. Rubber Blanket #1 - VFNM (or better) When David Mazzucchelli felt he has done some of the most significant work for Marvel and DC he went on and published this oversized magazine of experimental comics. They seem to be a bit scarce now.
  19. Now I have to figure out what to offer not to be too way off… I am not familiar with prices on some of these…
  20. Marvel Spotlight #32 Uncanny X-Men #121 Avengers Annual #10 Spectacular Spider-Man #64 Savage She-Hulk #1 OK, I will try…
  21. Hello? Is this thing on? In Kav's sig line (thumbs u
  22. Hello? Is this thing on? I think you should just incorporate the picture of the current offer in the second post, and then it’s just fine, IMO. (thumbs u
  23. I don’t think Havery had gambling in mind when he started the thread, but it might just be me…
