  1. Thought some of you might enjoy this. This is the original color guide to a story in Archie's Giant Series #30 (World of Jughead). Usually Samm Schwartz is my choice for Jughead artists, but if there are bikinis involved, it's gotta be Harry Lucey
  2. Here's some 1960s Superhero covers for your viewing pleasure:
  3. Hard to believe that cover is by the guy who created Archie!
  4. Since we've hijacked this thread to be cool Pep covers, here's #31:
  5. I think I would have to agree with you. I never looked that closely at the cover, but those do look like Schomburg Nazis. Is he cited anywhere as the (co-)artist of that cover? I don't recall seeing it listed in Overstreet, but my copy is at home so I can't check at the moment.
  6. Thanks for the info. I'm afraid I missed the '80s!
  7. Nice Mystery Men. I've never seen that cover before--very cool!
  8. I don't even know if it made any sense in 1960! But that phrase appears in many of the early Archie's Madhouse issues. What's an "OP jam"?
  9. "Who did it?" "Clyde Diddit!" "Who he?" Makes perfect sense to me!
