    I sent a copy of this off to be graded, and just called the other day to get the grade. 5.0 C/OW. I was sure it would be at least a 7.0 Yeah, that's happened to me once or twice, too... BTW, that's one of my favorite B&V covers. I bought the original art to it last year from Heritage.

    I agree! Kelly was definitely at his best with covers and Barks was at his best with narrative storylines. Both are great comic book gods and a Kelly cover over a Barks interior is my idea of Duck nirvana

    I know exactly what you mean--I sure wasn't paying any attention to them when I was buying bronze age books new off the stand So they are "new" to me in a way that Marvels and DCs definitely aren't!
