  1. My latest addition. It's my first Zip. This issue features the first appearance of Wilbur (Kinda the poor man's Pep 22) and the most amazing headlight cover too
  2. Very Nice! I didn't win anything in their latest auction The cover reminded me of the book House of Leaves. Has anybody else read it?
  3. That Valentines cover is just awesome, and the condition.... Let's just say I'm ashamed at the ratty copy I posted on Valentines day. Great books BTW does anyone else have the rubber dwarves that came out with the movie in 1938. They're really cool little things.
  4. Great books. I especially like the Japanese soldiers on the cover to #3.
  5. WOW! I've never seen that Spellbound before. GREAT cover!
  6. Latest book for my collection: Where else can you get a nice GA Simon & Kirby book for less than $100?
  7. I assume you must mean the early Excitings since they featured the Black Terror. The early Startlings featured the Fighting Yank. I thought he mean't the EARLY Startlings I posted which feature Captain Future. You are correct ghoulaid! I've owned many issues of Exciting (including 2-9) but never an issue of Startling so those covers are all new to me! Thanks for posting them!
  8. You did! And I'm very glad it found such a good home--You have an amazing collection
  9. Great books. I especially love the early Startlings!
  10. Bucky shooting an octopus with a bow and arrow is priceless! Great book!
  11. Detective 69 (Nov. 1942) preceded Headline 8 (1944) by almost 2 years. Both have great covers though! VERY nice Detectives BTW
