I've been slowly picking away at a slabbed run of Pep 22-65 (the Archie/Shield overlap issues) and just filled the holes to give me a 20 book run: 23-42 So, here they are...

Those hats were quite common in the '30s/'40s. They were cut up fedoras with pins/buttons added. Here's a link. Jackpot 4 came out more or less contemporaneously with Pep 24. It was a quarterly, whereas Pep was a monthly. Pep 22 has a cover date of December 1941 and actually came out in October 1941.
