  1. Sorry about that I think there's just a handful of us that keep the Archie collectible world alive. I'm glad that Samm Schwartz' family was willing to part with some of his art. It's been very nice being able to chat with Samm's daughter via email And, I got the cover I wanted the most, so no problem at all with losing out on the pals n gals cover (even thought it's quite awesome) (thumbs u
  2. Just arrived--one of my very favorite Samm Schwartz covers
  3. I seriously doubt that any insecticide treatment of the house will damage comic books. Public Service Announcement: On the other hand, most flea infestations can be controlled by treating household pets with a quality product such as Frontline, Advantage or Capstar. Fleas have to take a blood meal from an animal in order to reproduce. If they are unable to do so, they will not reproduce. Treating pets in the household should accomplish this. In general, treating all household pets, washing their bedding and vacuuming carpeting, etc. (being sure to throw out the vacuum bag afterward) is sufficient to take care of most flea problems. End PSA
  4. I see an Archie 1 peeking out of the bottom row
  5. A couple of new books from this weekend's MN show:
  6. I have a hygrometer in the safe to monitor humidity. There is a dehumidifier in the room and I tend to have the safe open regularly so it stays in a good moisture zone. There are also several boxes of dessicant in the safe. And, yes it's fire proof, but mostly it's for theft protection (although they'd have to get past the dogs first )
  7. It just looks like comic boxes on the inside
  8. Just did a little reorganization of the comic room, so here are some new pix
  9. Love your avatar! It sounds like you should post more in this very thread
  10. Here's the complete set. Some of my very favorite books
  11. I agree it's a good candidate (although I doubt it would raise the grade a whole lot), but I'm not planning on doing so.
