Here's my offering...55 Marvel Star Wars comics. Grades run from VG+ to VF/NM. No reprints. Shipping is on me, of course. Hopefully there are some Star Wars fans out there. I remember a lot of these stories fondly. Marvel invented the Expanded Universe, ya know.
If you can't make out the numbers I'm happy to provide a list. I'd also be fine with answering grade questions on any specific issue. I'll actually be home all day today working, so no big deal.

I've never read Y...
It's basically the story of Kav as a young stud
...so every volume has blank pages?

I love this one...

How could we not see the positive in this. Add the 'DC is thinking over a Wonder Woman movie, and Marvel is all 'Here's a gun-packing racoon'' line and it it will be a repeat classic.
Jeez.
Exactly. See? You understand.

I get it Chip, and no hard feelings really - it just got to me today I guess.
But if your stating facts about firsts I think 1st superhero comic and fist female superhero are some pretty substantial "firsts". Marvel may have been there wake-up call but DC was there first.
Marvel was no slouch either. They deserve a lot of credit for reviving the genre.
I'm just talking movies as far as my comment goes.

I do enjoy both companies. I enjoyed MOS a lot.
I was just pointing out a fact. I didn't say they weren't *good*...I said they'd always come in second.
Sheesh.

DC releases silly picture of Superman and Marvel releases this :
DC will always be second. Always.

These must be tough to come by. I never see these out in the wild. Nice piece Chip.
Thanks Chris. I don't have that anymore, sadly. That was a short era of me selling my collection to appease the girl I was with...a truly bonehead move if I ever made one. I really regret it since I had a lot of rare pieces like the boxed Mattel Krusher, boxed Hulk Rage Cage and other things it would cost a small fortune to replace now.

ThreeSeas, which issue were you talking about? I've got a few of the dino ones...very awesome covers. I love dinosaurs so it's tough to not keep them.

If y'all will indulge me I snapped some pics this morning. It's one way I can keep track of what I buy and from where. I won't post pics of all the loose SW vehicles and parts and stuff...there's just too much and it's mostly junk to part out. The Star Wars and Wolverine comics take up a full long box and there's a full short box of Iron Man and another of Star Spangled War. It'll take me a while to organize and clean up all this, though I'm hoping it will only take a few days.

Picked up a large collection today. About 850 comics, about 100 loose vintage Star Wars figures, about 50 loose vintage GI Joe figures (no straight arms, most NM but incomplete), some boxed Star Wars vehicles (boxes are a bit beat) a TON of Star Wars loose parts/pieces (mostly beat up, but 3 Falcons, 4 Snowspeeders, Jabba, a couple 12" dolls). Nearly all loose Star Wars vehicles are beat up, but a few things are cleanable like the Twin Pod Cloud Car and Jabba. Most of the figures are in very nice shape but about half are complete. Four SW carrying cases, two custom made wall cases, a boxed talking alarm clock, about 15 loose GI Joe vehicles, about 10 different vintage Dungeons & Dragons books/modules and about 25 autographed modern comic books. Most of the comics are Silver & Bronze, with large (75+ issue) runs of Star-Spangled War Stories, Iron Man, Star Wars and Wolverine (1988). Quite a bit more Silver Age then you'd see in a normal Craigslist collection with even some Golden Age (pretty much beat up). About 20 SA X-Men, 25 Avengers, 15 TTA/Hulk, 25+ TOS/Cap, 20+ Flash, etc. Mostly low to mid grade with more beaters than VF, but still worth selling.
It's nice to be on the way home from a score with my car bursting full of vintage collectibles. I enjoy this quite a bit.

Was this the indoor flea market in North Myrtle?
No, it was the Myrtle Beach Flea Market just past the 17 Business entrance to Market Common.
And did you still buy them?Peace,

The fact there were 7 of these should have set off the warning bells.
What can I say? I've been waiting for my ship to come in.

If I was unsure about the book I would have checked my phone to research, or asked to open one up to check the printing. It doesn't hurt to take a step back and think about it for a minute.
I know, but I barely had service in there. Plus, at $1 each I was going to buy them anyway. If they turned out to be 8th prints I still would put them in the eBay store for $3 each or whatever.
It was very low risk. The guy had 40 copies of Punisher Magazine #2. Now THAT'S a risk. .

Was VERY excited to find 7 copies of Bone #1 today at the local indoor flea market.
Was far less excited when I found out they were 7th prints.
