  1. His "art" sucks. All of it. Period. NM #87 is the closest I can get to accepting because McSteroidBalls made it somewhat palatable regardless of the Kane "homage" (read: ripoff). Peace, Chip
  2. He just "won" three books from me two days ago. I've already initiated cancellation proceedings and sold the books to other interested parties. His current eBay ID to block is happyman24 and from that ID history texastoast808. The account has been active since August of 2010, has 79 positive feedback (no negative) and the last transaction (before mine) was September of 2013. Peace, Chip
  3. concept. No sale. Peace, Chip
  4. In a seriousness, this is how I feel about it as well. When someone says something like that I immediately think they need mental help. I'm mentally unstable myself, so I know what I'm talking about. Peace, Chip
  5. !!! I will now specifically check all your posts each day. Honestly, you make me laugh more than the comedy shows I watch. Peace, Chip
  6. Just one GA book up right now, and it's an Exciting Comics #64, CGC graded 9.0 (OW/W pages) with an Alex Schomburg cover. A very pretty copy! Check it out here... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Exciting-Comics-64-1948-CGC-Graded-9-0-OW-W-Pages-/321387921227?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item4ad4367f4b Thanks for looking! Peace, Chip
  7. She's OK, but you could do better. ...and cheaper, but I wanted to stay on topic. Peace, Chip
  8. If I had that kind of money I'd hire Katy Perry for something else entirely. Just sayin'... Peace, Chip
  9. Why are the major players' names shrouded in such secrecy? Who are they? Peace, Chip
  10. Yup! I heard it will top $1 million! I think that delekketessen guy said it... Peace, Chip
  11. I held the OA for the X-men #137 cover in one hand and the page where Phoenix dies in the other. To say my hands were shaking is an understatement. Good times, though. Peace, Chip
  12. I would like the names and phone numbers of the "usual suspects" bidding on this auction. I'm not going to harass them, I'm simply going to ask them each once if they can get the $5,000+ from in-between their couch cushions and under their car seats and send it to me. I could really use the cash and they certainly won't miss it. Thanks. Peace, Chip
  13. Is the whole story in Volume 1 of the trade, or do you need to get both volumes? Thanks in advance for any info. Peace, Chip
  14. I thought this was common knowledge. Beast fixes him up with something that allows him to walk. It's even in this thread a few times, I believe. Peace, Chip
  15. This movie is going to be bigger than anyone thinks, IMHO. That trailer looked just perfect...it's like watching a real-life comic book. I've waited my whole comic-collecting life for the time we're living in right now as far as these films are concerned. Peace, Chip
  16. When I think that, for one day in my life, I held half the OA for X-Men #133 in my hands...I really can't believe it. It was like an out-of-body experience. *sigh* "Memories..." Peace, Chip
  17. A near-complete run from 204 to 262 just showed up yesterday... Peace, Chip
  18. Great posts, Phamton. Well thought-out and right on the money. Peace, Chip
  19. I absolutely loved what they did with Zola and I smiled when they name-dropped Dr. Strange. I thought the mid-credits scene was done very well, also. Von Strucker is just as I'd picture him if he were real. This is such a great time for us. Enjoy it, my friends. Peace, Chip
  20. April and I went to see it yesterday. All that was available during the time we had to see it was the 3D show, and surprisingly the 3D was non-distracting. It felt more like you were "in" the film and it certainly was very sharp & clear. April has gotten headaches whenever she's seen 3D films in the past, but this one didn't bother her at all. Regarding the film...wow. It was simply perfect. The acting, the effects, the drama, the fighting...wow. I wouldn't change a thing, really. April was mad when I commented on ScarJo's rear filling the screen for one shot, but then she got Evans in a tank top with all his ripped-ness later so I told her to shut it. . Just a great time at the theater, and since the trailers were TNMT, X-Men, ASM2 and Guardians I really felt lucky. This is a golden age for us comic book fans, and I'm loving every minute of my childhood dreams of real-life superheroes playing out on the big screen. Peace, Chip
  21. I can't wait for April's reaction when the mask comes off. It'll probably the same as when my pants come off. Dead silence. Peace, Chip
