Based on these posts, my father and I started watching this last night. I had no information about the show except "NASA" and was pleasantly surprised and intrigued with the first few episodes.

People can change. The question here is, can a business change? Do they have to? Do they want to? Will it even make a difference in their profits if they don't?

This should be the final post in every CGC "scandal" and "inexplicable performance/QC" thread. None of it matters, because this post by @mikenyc is the absolute truth regarding any CGC situation.

This thread is even better and more informative/educational than the other two scandal threads. We even were treated to some lawyer big-richard swinging. @jaybuck43 as always, is curiously silent.

No scandal stops the gravy train, anyway. Once again, 98% of comic collectors will never even know this happened.

Welp, I picked this up because I knew it was rare. I took it out of the box this morning because I wanted to inflate it and make sure there were no holes in it, plus to clean it up if it was dirty. Imagine my surprise when I unfolded it to find... (@CGC Mike how can the orientation issue on photo uploading get fixed? All these photos are correct on my phone.)

Recently acquired this and am looking for more information on it. Any MMM collectors have any knowledge of it? Thanks in advance.

Any information will help...rarity, value, etc. (Note - once again stuff is uploading sideways even though it's not that way on my phone/computer. Sorry about that.) The first two pieces are comic-sized flyer-type things. The military piece is smaller than the postcard piece, and the pin-up picture sheet is just a photocopy (there were two identical ones) but the pin-up itself is original. Thanks in advance for any info.

I've had single longboxes and shortboxes shipped before. That's not a big deal. I'm talking about a lot of them.

That's not toxic unless you have a VERY thin skin, man. Come on, now. I sympathize with you when you're getting needlessly attacked around here, but I'm just having a discussion about something I really care very little about. It's just coffee shop talk because I'm bored at work. I personally don't see the point in him continually saying "WOW! THIS HAS LEGS! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???" when he's talking about a dud movie that's already lost lots of money, but that's his right and prerogative. I don't need to care that much about it, but I'm just having a conversation/debate with you. It's all good in the end. No worries. We can disagree about opinions and still be good to each other.

Lol. Come on, now. I'm not suggesting that anyone NEEDS to do anything because I say so. It's just an expression. It's like saying that Joe Rogan needs to "go away" for whatever BS he's sprouting at the moment. I don't expect him to actually disappear. I don't need to know the metrics. If the movie has a certain budget, like $200 million...and then an advertising budget of $100 million...and then the total box office after 6 weeks is $150 million, it does not matter if it's got "legs" or not. It's done. Toast. A failure. A bomb. If he's an "expert" and I'm just "some guy" it doesn't matter. The numbers are the numbers.

I'm not out of touch with anything, my friend. Just because I haven't posted doesn't mean I wasn't reading on almost a daily basis. I saw all the attacks, all the arguing, all the BS that this forum is always capable of. I don't understand that, but I know how this place is. Toxic. My mindset is that if it isn't making a profit and losing money, it's a "bomb." That movie guy needs to stop with the "it's got legs" garbage when all the legs in the world won't make the movie NOT a bomb. That's my point.

A buddy of mine in CT has a collection that I'm buying from him. I'm in SC. It's about 20 longboxes, so I'm thinking that pallet fright might be a cheap shipping option, but as far as creating an account at various companies and going through all the rigamarole of trying to figure out the logistics of it for an estimate when the actual purchase is a few weeks away I'd reach out on here and see if anyone's done this and how involved it is. Thanks in advance for any info.

I'm not trying to be a jerk when I ask this, but I'm curious... So what? So what if someone wants to trash something they haven't seen? I have ZERO intentions of seeing the Madame Web movie. I've seen the trailer and a few clips and I think it's dumb looking. Furthermore, the fact that they're making this instead of, IMHO of course, much more worthy & deserving comic characters is mind-boggling to me. It's like in football when a team needs a first down and they don't get the ball to their best player. They try to get it to some backup. When they don't get the first down, I tell my TV..."Serves them right."
