    Gotham

I like Gotham and will keep watching but they should have killed off fish; I have the same feelings about Barbara (they should have just wrote her out of the show). Having them both still alive bloats the show and forces aspects that shouldn't be forced or even in the -script at this point making them lose direction as they jump around to "create" a secondary unneeded story.

Brown Coat or Alliance? Um, the one with the planes. chair force... .
  3. Constantine is not completely dead yet and there is an option for a second season. It doesn't have great time slot ratings unfortunately but over performs on secondary (DVR/Hulu) viewings which is great. Unfortunately that doesn't even out on the network end but they like it.
  4. It's like the exact same people are posting the exact same thing in order to move the market in the direction they wish it and still not getting any traction....

She was also the hot space hooker on firefly!
  6. Uh-oh is right. She is going to have a nasty cut and black eye from the scope not to mention probably drop the rifle holding it by the lever like that when she pulls the trigger, poor rifle.
  7. If you are never in danger of loosing money for current business practices then there will never be a reason to expand. Why hire and train additional people when you can make the customer wait longer (and they are ok with it) for the same or increased price (FT to get books back "quicker"). This isn't just a problem with CCS (though they are the slowest and most expensive option); all pressers are always behind on their TAT and offer FT so you can get your books "faster". It is a solid way to make money and ensure income growth while making the customer pay more for the same service that was advertised.
  8. I have only used CCS for one submission (maybe two years ago); there are successes and failures with each pressing service used, I have more success with others. Just as an aside, that last sentence forum exchange seems more appropriate for a PM discussion.
  9. You know this isn't the comic general forum, right?
  10. I stopped watching the it when it showed no movement at all in the first twenty minutes (when there should have been alot of bids). You do not need a ripple account to watch it you can go here: http://ripple.nemisoftware.com/ and look for CBC. This is a retro barebones view that is easy on phones all you need to know is the coin name and wallet (if there are multiple) CBC currently only has one bid (same a previous) and no asks so it looks like they took down any coins for sale.
  11. Been watching it over the last 20 min and there are only two asks (from the same account) and zero bids. Maybe this will be a slow burner.. .
  12. He stated earlier in the thread that this altcoin will be traded only on ripple and it was supposed to start today, but I have yet to see it pop up.
  13. Despite this being a total scam from the OP to fund his future comic collection there is a fun idea behind it that unfortunately has been lost. If this had been brought up as a community idea to promote fun as a way to exchange pennies it could have worked. Owning a thousand comic coins (worth 50 cents) and dolling some out when ever, if it became popular enough 3D printing a couple coins for a fun "manufactured" collectable to include in boxes on the sales forums. Dogecoin was a fun idea to capitalize on an image that has sense lost most value to the point that it is given for making good posts on facebook in communities. Something like that could have been the result here but it has been ruined by run around wording and sidestepping what is trying to be sold.
  14. There are hundreds if not thousands of altcoins created, all except a very small handful have failed. Altcoins are not backed by standard or (in this case) non-standard commodities so you are being purposefully deceitful by trying to imply that the coins are in any way related to the comics you will be buying with others money. Any altcoin is based on pure faith in its ability for utilization. I have seen no where in your "business model" how you explain it will be able to be used or accepted by second or third parties. You also cannot pay "dividends" on altcoins as they are not an invest-able stock that can show returns, so this is illegal and I have not even read half this thread yet. You seem to be very young, very young, like late teens young who read about bitcoins on the internet and thought you could do it to with comics books (that you don't know alot about). You can not with this crowd (or any crowd with your website), If I were you I would quietly back away and do some heavy research into Dogecoin which has shown moderate (by altcoin standards) success based on community and usage. I see that you have answered questions, so why not answer this one: Italic is my add
  15. It's a limited series, so the possibilites are ... limited. But the period is late 40s so you would think they can be pulling stuff from the Timely library. Maybe Dr. Phineas Horton (creator of the original Torch) or Tom Halloway (Angel) or Madeline Joyce Fank (Miss America) or Louise Grant Mason (Blonde Phantom) makes an appearance? Or references to the Invaders or the All-Winners Squad? Wouldn't also mind seeing or hearing a name drop of millie the model, tessie the typist or hedy devine.

The inker could not save it due to the "artist" not using a gummy eraser on the cover before sketching, neither could the colorist. What was supposed to be a nice Zene jam book turned into something my 5 year old could have knocked out in art class. I was very unhappy with the "artist" to say the least. The inker and colorist tried apologizing for not being able to save it and the colorist didn't even sign it. In the end it wasn't their fault and we all knew what happened by the end of the convention. I could not stand the lack of basic science in the balloon-man episode. As someone with the part time hobby of launching weather balloons for atmospheric experiments it was completely cringe worthy.
  19. Here is a left field Golden Age question how did job numbers work? In the late 40's Timely books instead of having artist/writer information seem to be all done by a small hand full of people with SL or D. The actual number will vary wildly from story to story (some by over 100+). I would obviously assume SL = Stan Lee but in what capacity? Does it designate writer or editor (or both) is their even a list of codes used aggregated somewhere (google was not helpful).
  20. I have a number of Shooter stories from 20 years ago, none of them are bad though.
  21. I would punch a baby in the face for the chance to steal an Action #1 from an old lady who didn't know any better for $1 then sell it.
  22. Drek usually boils down to what the community majority deem it to be until you try and buy it from them then they try and sell it to you for multiples of guide. Everything tends to be worthless to someone else who doesn't want it (which dramatically changes when you want to buy it).
  23. His arm freezing was a combination of altitude and wind speed, it was explained as such when they put the clock around his neck. I found this to be very apt analogy especially in the case it was presented, this was one of the things the movie did right. I think the film makers were very sort sighted when they decided to wreck the train in the mountains and use a polar bear as the "sign of life". I know this goes beyond the message of the movie but a 17 yo drug addict and a traumatized kid (neither of which even knows what outside is) staring at a polar bear will be dead within a couple hours from either the cold or the bear. Also to the bear itself which is a voracious predator (and looks to be very well fed) means life never really died outside the train to begin with like they thought it did. I am giving this movie way to much credit by analyzing things into it that just were never intentioned to be more than a passing thought. If we all take a step back I think the real message when watching the movie should be this: We identify with those in the back of the train who are suffering and trying to move up in the system equating it to our own struggles; in reality all of us here are actually those in the front of the train maintaining what we have already gained and acquiring evermore.
  24. I am an unashamed doctor who fan and met Peter Davidson at Gen Con one year. If you are looking for a cool way to collect autographs I would picking up a copy of "The Journal of Impossible Things" (from the new series). It is a very nice prop and comes with alot of blank pages in the back for your own entries.
  25. I enjoyed the movie up until the end where it seemed flat and went off the rails... literally.
