  1. I'm going to let this run for a few more hours, but it will be closed this evening. Last chance to buy my primo product!
  2. I just made big price cuts to all the remaining books! Including the huge Thor and Sgt. Rock lots! Check them out and buy them all!!!
  3. Thor #104-502! Plus Annuals #1-19 and much more! $1600 $1400 shipped!! Additionally, if you live within a 3 hour drive from Boston, I will knock another $100 off the price and deliver the books in person. This is complete run of Thor vol. 1 from the first issue with the Thor logo - #104 - through the end of the series at #502, which is 399 consecutive issues. Plus, all 19 Thor annuals, and a big pile of crossover appearances, like Daredevil #30 and Iron Man #65. And more! The early Journey into Mystery issues are low grade readers. The grades edge up into mid-grades by around #140ish, and there are higher grade books mixed in, particularly once it gets to the Bronze Age after #200. I think at this price I might actually be underwater on these, but unfortunately I just don't have room right now to store them, so I am really hoping I can find a good home for these amazing comics. Jack Kirby's run on Thor is one of the most amazing works in comics, and anyone who loves the Fourth World at DC should really have this run in their collection, as his run ends with Ragnarok - the end of the Old Gods - directly leading into the rebirth in New Gods #1. The concepts for New Gods were originally ideas for a Thor reboot! Plus, there's all sorts of great stories after as well, like Roy Thomas's massive Ragnarok/Celestials/Eternals storyline that runs from around #280-300, Walt Simonson's legendary run from #337-383, and the replacement Thor arc from #432-460. A couple specific issue notes- #105 is a rag. It's complete, but probably a .5, just a placeholder that I never got around to upgrading. And #131 is missing a pretty large piece of the front cover. Here are some scans of key issues! #112 - 1st Thor vs. Hulk! 1.0 - The spine is split from the midpoint to the bottom. Presents beautifully for the grade. #114 - 1st Absorbing Man! 3.5 #118 - 1st Destroyer! 4.5 #119 - 1st Warriors Three! 4.5 Annual #1 - 1st Hercules! 2.0 - the spine is basically missing, but since this is a square bound annual, it doesn't affect the integrity of the book, and both front and back covers are still firmly attached #126 - 1st issue of Thor! 1.8 - This has a kid's name, a store stamp, and a date stamp! It's got everything, and it's still holding together! I love well loved books like this. I can't be the only one, right? #133 - 1st full Ego the Living Planet! 4.5 #148 - 1st Wrecker! 6.5 #150 - 1st Hela! 5.0 - Looks beautiful, but is a little toasty, particularly on back cover. #165 - 1st full Him/Adam Warlock! 3.5 - has some bends and is super dirty. A press and a clean wouold make this look a billion times better, though I'm not sure how much it would improve the grade with the scuffing and creases on the edges. #166 - 2nd full Him/Adam Warlock! 5.0 #168 - Galactus! 5.5 - structurally great, but dust shadow and toastiness on edges #169 - Galactus! 5.5
  4. Question for those who know more than I, which is literally everyone at this point. Do books with Baker interiors command a premium, even if he didn't do the cover? I recently picked up a Lovers #85, so I'm curious, though I like Atlas romance so I will probably keep this one for myself either way.
  5. I really dig the one with the snowman.
  6. Massive Sgt. Rock Collection! 216 issues of Our Army at War and Sgt. Rock! $640 $550 shipped! Arguably the greatest war comic ever made, with tons of amazing Joe Kubert art. This lot includes 113 issues of Our Army at War between #96-301, 99 issues of Sgt. Rock between #302 and #422, three annuals, and DC Special #13 - Sgt. Rock Spectacular. These are readers. The Our Army at War issues generally are between 2.0 and 4.5. There are a couple coverless issues, a couple with pieces missing, and a number with writing on the cover (mostly names of previous owners). The majority are solid, low grade reader copies filled with amazing stories. The Sgt. Rock issues tend towards higher grade, especially past #370 or so, and there are some nice copies in the last 40-50 issues. But overall, this is a great way to get a massive Sgt. Rock reader collection all at once, for less than $3 per issue. This lot includes Our Army at War and Sgt. Rock: 96, 108, 109, 124, 127, 135, 136, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 145, 146, 147, 148, 149, 152, 154, 155, 156, 158, 161, 189, 195, 196, 198, 204, 205, 206, 209, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 216, 217, 219, 220, 221, 222, 223, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 249, 250, 252, 254, 255, 256, 257, 258, 259, 260, 261, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, 269, 270, 271, 272, 274, 275, 276, 277, 278, 280, 281, 282, 283, 284, 285, 286, 287, 288, 289, 290, 291, 292, 294, 295, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 306, 307, 308, 309, 317, 319, 320, 321, 322, 323, 326, 327, 328, 329, 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 336, 338, 339, 342, 343, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, 350, 351, 352, 354, 355, 356, 357, 359, 360, 361, 362, 363, 364, 365, 366, 367, 368, 370, 371, 372, 373, 374, 376, 378, 379, 380, 381, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, 395, 396, 397, 398, 399, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411, 412, 413, 414, 415, 417, 418, 419, 420, 422, Anl 2, Anl 3, Anl 4, DC Special #13
  7. Romance Reader Lot $49 $39 shipped! 29 Silver and Bronze Age romance comics This lot is mostly Charlton, with a few other publishers thrown in. Many of the Bronze Age Charlton books present well, but are warped from water damage. The Silver Age Charlton books and most of the other Silver Age books are low grade readers. A few have small pieces out of the covers, or writing on the covers. The Girls' Romances has writing on the FC. The Personal Love and All For Love are nicer, mid grade books. 29 great books from the late 50's through the mid 70's!
  8. Marvel Chillers #3-7 including Marvel Chillers #4 30 Cent Variant! $42 $29 shipped! This is Tigra's solo series! Notes on the individual issues: #3 - 6.0 #4 - 4.5 - 30 cent variant #5 - 6.0 #6 - 3.0 - writing on FC #7 - 7.0
  9. More coming tonight or tomorrow, mostly lots - including my Thor collection from #104-502+ annuals and crossovers!
  10. Marvel Team-Up #3 $19 $17 shipped! 6.0 Small distribution note written in pen on fc above price box.
  11. Detective Comics #348 $19 $16 shipped! 6.0 There's some minor spine scraping along the middle of the spine, fc.
  12. Reid Fleming, World's Toughest Milkman #1 $38 $29 shipped! 6.0 This is a first print. I have no real idea of what it's worth, or rarity, as the few examples I have seen sold are all over the map. So let's just throw a dart randomly and see what happens!
  13. Ms. Marvel #1 $65 $49 shipped! 5.0 This has a small tear through the "MS." in the bar above the price box, which drops this to a 5.0 for me. Still a year until the movie comes out!
  14. OMAC #1 $39 $29 shipped! 9.0 Unread copy that just suffers from a little bit of storage negligence form the previous owner. It's got some slightly rounded corners, and has picked up some dirt. Plus, there's a bit of ink transfer from being stacked on a bunch of other copies for too long. As a result, I have this as a 9.0.
  15. Web of Mystery #9 $49 $39 shipped! 2.0 The top staple is popped, and there's a little bit of bug chew on the upper left back corner that etended to the last couple pages. Does not affect story. Bottom staple is still attached, and colors are nice! I have this as a 2.0.
  16. Marvel Premiere #47 8.0 and Marvel Premiere #48 8.0 both for $79 $59 shipped! Marvel Premiere #47, first Scott Lang as Ant-Man. This has a couple minor things you can't see in the scan - there's a slight spine roll/ridge from improper stacking, and there's also some waviness to the top edge of the front cover. I think these can both probably be pressed out, but as it sits, it brings this down to an 8.0 for me. There's also a small scratch in the price box by the O in Only that may not jump out to you, but it could limit the upward potential of this if you did want to press it. Marvel Premiere #48 is nice, but there's a faint corner crease in the bottom right corner that prevents upward mobility. I have it at 8.0.
