  1. I think the comic shop was called Comics Unlimited located on Keewatin Avenue. I went there a few times in the early 80s. I remember going to Memory Lane in around 1975 but by then the store was transitioning out of comics altogether and focusing on vintage movie posters. But my fondest memory is going to Bakka located on Queen St in 1975 where they had for sale a AF 15 for $75.00 too bad all I had on me was 75 cents. I should have asked to look at the book just to see what shape it was in but didn't.
  2. Uninspiring trailer, give the movie rights back to Marvel Studio!

  4. That brings back memories. I remember back in the late 70's Xmen became ubber popular when Bryne took over after issue 107. As for Hulk 181, I could not find a decent copy in '78 but the I recall X Men 94 was selling for $10 which I thought was a lot for $3 comic in the OPG. As for GSXM#1 the first time I saw that was at a convention in downtown Toronto back in Sept'79 the dealer was asking $20,it was nice copy I should have bought it
  5. I would have to say Dark Knight 1-4,FF 51,ASM 39-40 and X Men 135-137
  6. Back in 1979, I was at a CON at the Hotel Toronto. There was a dealer who had (6) ASM# 33s for $3 apiece (unbagged & unboarded). At the time I scrutinized over the six ASMs and just bought two copies. Fast forward to 2004, both copies were graded by CGC and the results were 9.4 and 9.8. I'm positive the other four copies were at least 9.4s - 9.6s.
