  1. The other rumor floating around is this is going to be the John Corben version of Metallo. So at some point during the Zod vs. Superman MOS fight leading to the destruction of the city, he loses his legs due to falling building debris. Which would then explain the green screen socks up to a certain point. --------------------- After John Byrne rewrote Superman's origins in the 1986 miniseries The Man of Steel, Metallo was also given an altered backstory. In this version, John Corben was a small-time con man who was fatally injured in a car crash, but to his luck Professor Emmet Vale happened to pass by. Professor Vale was a pioneer in robotics, and erroneously believed that Superman was the first in a wave of superpowered Kryptonian invaders after recovering Superman's ship and mistranslating Jor-El's message to his son. Vale transplanted Corben's brain into a robotic alloy body, which was powered by a two-pound chunk of kryptonite, and instructed him to kill Superman. Metallo, now Corben's new moniker, thanked Vale by snapping his neck, which killed him. --------------------- So this may be a version that now would have a deep hate for Superman due to the damage done to his body. Once he becomes a cyborg, now he would want to have his revenge. it could go that way and i do think he can be playing Metallo and if he was playing the flash it would be Wally and not Barry.
  2. ARROW EP Marc Guggenheim Discusses The Connor Hawke Angle Discussing that specific theory with TV Line, Arrow exevutive producer Marc Guggenheim stated, “Half of our job is coming up with ideas, and the other half is exercising judgement in terms of the right time to play those ideas. We also need to have that moment happen in the right context. So is it Year 3, is it Year 10…? I don’t know.” Guggenheim adds, “We’ve put it out there and we’ve got some cool ideas about where to go with it, should we do it, but we haven’t committed to actually doing it or even when to do it.”
  3. Grant Gustin Teases THE FLASH's 'Reverse-Flash' And Connections To FLASHPOINT Talking to The Hollywood Reporter recently, Gustin was quick to address such criticisms. "If it had been a team of people that didn't know what they were doing, I probably wouldn't have gotten this role because they would have just cast a blonde guy who was buff. They were looking for somebody who encompassed the heart of Barry Allen and at first, I didn't realize I did. Now that I've explored the character, the comics, read the scripts and talked to [the producers], I understand why I got this role." While the Barry we currently know is a little younger and geekier than his comic book counterpart, Andrew Kreisberg told the site that, "By the end of the year, he will come to resemble The Flash that we know from the comic books." You have to wonder if that means that he'll be getting a new suit as well! A big part of The CW series will of course be romance, but after waking up from his coma, Barry finds that Central City Detective Eddie Thawn is dating Iris West. "Barry doesn't have many friends. After the accident, Barry really wants to tell her how he feels. When he sees that she's with Eddie, it makes it clearer to Barry how he feels because of how it makes him feel to see her with somebody else." However, don't expect to see too much of the series focusing on this love triangle as the young hero will have his hands full developing his new identity. "He wants to save the day. He wants to be a hero. He wants to prevent any child from going through what he went through, so he's going to put that on his priority list before his love life. He's not going to get in the middle of anything Iris has going and break her and Eddie up. He's going to watch from the outside for now and hold off on telling her." Of course, another potential love interest for Barry is Felicity (Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards), and her appearance in episode four "does complicate things for Barry," the actor teased. However, doesn't she have a thing for a certain hooded hero? "We left their relationship on a weird note [on Arrow], but she's also in a weird predicament with Oliver where she clearly loves him. Barry and Felicity clearly have a lot in common but I don't know that any of those relationships are going to work out. At the same time, it's not something he can worry himself with too much right now." Next section is a spoiler since it's part of future episodes
  4. ARROW: Episode Focusing On Felicity's Background No Longer Titled "Oracle" It was always unlikely, but the fact that an upcoming episode of Arrow would be called "Oracle" did make it seem as if we could see a young Barbara Gordon make some sort of cameo appearance (especially as it will reportedly deal with Felicity's time at MIT). Well, forget that Birds of Prey spin-off for the time being as Entertainment Weekly have revealed that it has now been retitiled, "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak." The episode will still see the introduction of Felicity's mother - played by NYPD Blue's Charlotte Ross - and some hints about the fan favourite characters father too. "We’ve established in the past that mom is a cocktail waitress in Vegas," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told the site. "She and Felicity are two very different people. Episode 5, which is when Felicity’s mom comes to town, really deals with the differences between these two women and how much of their relationship is a struggle as a result. It’s a real challenge for these two people to find some common ground." As for Felicity’s father, he added: "The mystery of who Felicity’s dad is probably gets extended more than it gets answered." Any early thoughts on who which comic book character her father could be? Share your thoughts and theories below!

  11. Ben Affleck Talks BATMAN V SUPERMAN Role; Praises Zack Snyder And Chris Terrio's Vision When EW recently got the chance to catch up with the Gone Girl star, they were quick to quiz him on what it was like to see such a vocal response. "Before I took the role, Warner Bros. gave me a bunch of past reactions to casting and said, “Are you sure you want to get into this? This is part and parcel of these movies now. There’s a lot of active fans with a lot of opinions.” To me, having been through a certain amount of that, it doesn’t really… Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. I wouldn’t have taken the part if I didn’t trust my instincts in terms of the filmmaking," he added before praising this new take on the iconic DC Comics character. "I think Chris Terrio wrote a terrific -script. Zack’s a great visual director. And there’s an interesting take. I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t think I could do it. I have the benefit of a lot of that understanding. But also, everyone is entitled to their opinion. That’s a big part of this international sport. The Fifty Shades of Grey kid or whatever it is. That’s sort of become a thing."
