  1. Because everyone forgets that Aquaman's physiology and habitat make him physically more dense and strong at a cellular level. At depths that would crush a submarine he's swimming around like he's in a backyard pool. Superman can clearly be injured by physical combat: ala Doomsday's battle with him to the 'death'. So if Supes gets pounded hard enough...he bleeds. In spite of all the jokes about Aquaman, he's a pretty tough . That's some really good points to remember. yeah a lot of people forget that Aquaman swim around those depths. superman is almost god like but like every god their are areas others can do better. superman can run super fast but the flash is faster, i bet superman can swim to those depths but can't last like Aquaman in those depth without getting hurt.
  2. i really didn't think Aquaman was badass until i read the new52 JL book and saw this. then Johns gave us a great run and build more into the Aquaman mythology.
  3. what would be crazy for them to do is have JL come out in August 5 months after BvS and then have the others films follow after JL would give them a huge jump in sales and show their not backing down.
  4. that's true it could have been that she had the correct list but it wasn't the finale list that WB/DC was going to use. which would explain the changes in the production of BvS and JL.
  5. First Look At Spoiler Filming Scenes For THE FLASH We've known for a while now that The CW's Arrow and Flash would be crossing over and referrencing each other throughout their upcoming season's and now we have our first look at Emily Bett Rickards' Felicity Smoak meeting The Flash's Grant Gustin (Barry Allen). In Gustin's two appearances in the second season of Arrow the two developed a relationship that looks like it will (possibly) continue the future. Check it the set picture below:
  6. ARROW's 'Clock King' (Robert Knepper) Is Coming To THE FLASH TV Line reveals that Robert Knepper will reprise the role of William Tockman (better known to comic book fans as The Clock King) in episode 7 of The Flash, but he won't be alone! "We wanted to give Barry a real challenge… TWO bad guys!" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told the site, adding that Barry will be "fighting both a new enemy and one of our scariest and most successful Arrow villains in The Clock King." There's no word on who that villain will be as of right now.
  7. Well what the hell does that even mean? If Batman is 50, how would he have 'already lived for an estimated 30 years?!!?' It's total nonsense. No, no, no, no, noooooooo! That's ridiculous. There's no Justice League movie yet you idgit!!! Futhermore using your own twisted logic against you: So let me get this straight: Batman is relatively unknown....nobody knows of his existence....never even been 1 picture of him fighting crime. YET, the purported storyline which nobody even really has a firm grasp on yet has a Batman retired FROM the Justice League along with all the other members. Somehow, someway an entire League of superheros is fairly unknown....and retired....FROM WHAT? The League gets together to fight HUGE, MASSIVE, EARTHSHATTERING disasters of EPIC proportions....they don't fight in the shadows without anyone seeing them. Furthermore, you think someone would know of Batman's existence had he been a member of such a League....at least ONE photo op somewhere? So Batman v Superman is going to be the 'first' meeting of Bats v Supes...but through some unknown construct of logic they were on some legendary team of heroes that's now retired and nobody has ever heard of either of them....(before MOS 1). Totally ridiculous. Good job Tanya Diente, who must have woken up like Rip Van Winkle and cursorily read someone else's hackjob article as a reference tool before unloading her drivel onto the web. Why can't people that REALLY appreciate the genre and characters be the only people that write these articles? It's really obvious when someone has no grasp of the material. so true, i think batman is going to be in his 40's with at least 3 or 4 Robins under his bet and maybe one of them could be dead (Jason Todd). which could lead into Batman solo film being base on the "red hood" story line.
  8. looks like Jeffrey Dean Morgan could be playing Thomas Wayne in BvS.
  9. How is Guardians's results what made DC/Warner move its date? This date change had to be done by either company, which a few detailed analysts clearly called out as the right move for both studios to benefit. Take the Marvel blinders off, and see reality. Plain and simple. WB got scared. Fearful that it would lose money competing with Captain America 3. There is no way that this announcement today is a coincidence and not a direct correlation with the success of the GOTG movie. Ask yourself this. Why didn't WB announce this a SDCC when it had the attention of the international media. It isn't about being scared. It is slowly and smartly building out a franchise after many, many years of blowing their chances and letting opportunity go by. That in itself is the biggest shame when it comes to DC/Warner, as they had so many movies to get that ball rolling. Now the SDCC thing is the one I scratch my head over, as Warner had to know they were doing this. That leaked information pretty much confirms what is starting to come together. So yes, the movie schedule timing is odd when we are only two weeks after SDCC 2014. I'll give you that. GOTG had nothing to do with the change of date it was smart of them to move and take March and give both films enough space to make their money. i don't think any of them would have made past $600 million if they open on the same date. i would agree WB did drop the ball with DC in the past because of the old CEO thinking their were no value in any other character expect batman and superman. the new CEO of WB is not playing around he knows theirs money behind DC characters look how fast we are getting DC shows and building their movie universe. now for the SDCC i don't think they needed to even show anything of BvS at SDCC 2 weeks ago the movie is not coming out until March 2016. WB/DC most likely have a road map plan out when they are going to make and announcement.
  10. That Forbes.com article a few months back that said both studios would ensure not to allow a competition to disrupt their pending success called it. I believe it talked about the smart move would be someone taking the earlier date, so then one starts off the year and the other takes advantage of the post-excitement. This makes a lot of sense. now some are thinking that the other 2016 date could be JL sonce they should be filming back to back.
  11. march is a smart move because is one of those months that doesn't have a block buster and it could become like August did with GOTG.
  12. Breaking New Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice change release date from May 6 2016 to March 25th, 2016.
  13. NYPD BLUE's Charlotte Ross Joins The Cast Of ARROW Season 3 NYPD Blue star Charlotte Ross has joined the upcoming season of The CW's Arrow as the mother of fan favorite Felicity Smoak! You might recognize Ross from recent appearances in both Nashville and Glee before being tapped by The CW. The actress will star in at least one episode but may appear in more with her first scenes as the unnamed character airing in late November. This coming season of Arrow will give us more knowledge of Felicity's past in an arc that the showrunners over at The CW are calling "The secret origin of Felicity Smoak". Marc Guggenhiem teased fans, saying that we will "absolutely get to know her". It is most likely that the majority of Ross' appearances in the show will take place during these flashback based episodes.
  14. Thanks to you and Kagenish for tirelessly keeping all us DC crazies up to date on the happenings with this and the BvS flick. i know i miss one story last week about arrow. yes it's a bit crazy when news starts to come left and right all at once. Bosco does get to take care of a lot of the other news from the other show but that's why we love these hobby.
