  1. That's the thing about shooters. They all feel the same after a while, a least to me. I burn out on them real quick. I haven't picked one up in years and really have no desire to.
I feel the same way the market is flooded with shooters and non-shooter get over look. But we have gotten some great game like journey, the Walking dead, braid and a couple of more games that can think at this moment.
  2. Got my room about done-- have had it for a few months, but was changing the shelved to fit the CGC boxes over the last week. I have room for 25 on display at one time, and I change it weekly, but mostly just for me. I pick a box and randomly select 25 books from it!

  3. Just finished Episode 8.

I think the series is improving...things are starting to gel. Amell was a little stiff in the first few episodes, but he seems to be opening up in the role now. He's much more likeable.

Damn...I wish I had friends that said things like, "Don't worry, my trust fund is your trust fund." :)

I like Felicity Smoak, she's a quirky character on the show.

Am I the only one that knows the lemon juice ink trick? Why do you need high tech glasses? Oh well.

One more episode before the mid-season break. I don't like these breaks, they kinda ruin continuity.

Anyway, really good episode. Looking forward to the next one.

I agree overall. And yes, Felicity is interestingly quirky.

Where this episode let me down was the writing dealing with the Helena's reaction to Oliver after the impromptu foursome dinner. It felt very staged from the get go and it felt like the writer(s) had no real world relationship/human reaction experiences to draw on. I felt it was a very cheap way to setup Huntress for future appearances.

Otherwise, I think it is probably the best superhero tv show I have seen. I am impressed they have achieved what they have right out of the gate.

But as I had said a while back and others have also said, we need more Island flashbacks. There is a lot of potential there.

I agree. The characters aren't fully fleshed out yet. Hopefully this changes as the series progresses and the writers have more to draw from. :wishluck:

I found it to be ok at first but then i remembered this show didn't have a full season contract. Now it does so yeah I do think we going to see characters fleshed out. Plus geoff John's wrote some of the episodes.
  4. Huntress is set up well to just appear every once in a while to mix things up abit, missing some island stories the past few episodes

Yeah, I want to know more about what happened on the island. That's a great flash-back sub-plot going there.

I would also like to see more about the Island but I'm also ok with them building the character out more.
  5. My wife and I and our three kids live in a 1200 square foot ranch house. It is crowded to say the least. I have always been envious of all the cool comic rooms you guys post on the boards. I've managed to scrounge out a "comic corner" in our current house.

All that is about to change, we are moving to a much larger house and the best part is it has 5 bedrooms...one more than we need. You know what that means? That's right baby, a whole comic room for myself, my wife even gave me the approval...ok well, sort of, it's a comic room slash guest room, but I'll take what I can get. Best part is, when my parents come to visit they get to sleep in there. It will drive them absolutely crazy that I never completely grew up and I still collect comics to this day....bwwahahahaha!!!!!!

It's the grey one in the middle

  6. You get the comic at the end of the run at the "quarantine" area. I thought I would have to do the run while carrying it, I would just tap out and go home

Yeah. It looks like you get it when you finish. After I'm finished ill be standing there offering up cash for the people that are "unsuspecting". That is unless I can snag a handful of them on my own accord. From the podcast it does seem like this will be a fairly common variant (5-10k ish). I'm hoping that the article written just got it wrong when saying survivors, walkers, and spectators all get a copy of the book.

I'm pretty sure survivors and walkers get a copy of the comic. Spectators I think get a poster or something else. That's at least what I thought when I first read about it. Maybe they changed it.

from what i read it seems to be everyone gets one. Then again i can be wrong hm
