You can update the address on your account by logging into your account on our website here: CGC log in Once you are signed in, click on the "My CGC" logo in the top right hand corner and then go down to "My Account" and you will be able to update your personal information there. If you need to change the address on an order that is already on its way or here in the office, you will need to email us the submission number/order number and the new address and we will have to manually update those. If the order is already completed but still here, we will need to have it pulled to be fixed. As long as you contact us within two weeks of receiving the items back, we can usually always offer a complimentary reholder if there was damage or issues with the holders.   10. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Your order is currently with CCS for pressing. Right now, regular pressing is running very long at about 244 business days. CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) Pressing is a very lengthy process as each book can go through the pressing machine multiple times to press out as many defects as possible. Each submission will have a different number of books and different needs as far as how much pressing must be done so there isn't any set time frame on how long one submission might take for pressing. It will vary from book to book. You will receive an email once that moves to the CGC side for grading. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you!

We actually have just recently updated our Member credit policy so now those credits will apply to all fees (excluding any purchases from the CCG store).You can find the article on our website regarding this here: Annual $150 Premium and Elite Membership Credit Now Applies to All Services and Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) You cannot combine a private signing order and a regular order on the same online order form. You will have to create separate orders with separate packing slips. We do recommend you send in private signing orders in their own box but if you must include regular submissions in the same box, be sure to write the artist's initials on the outside of the box so that private signing order is not delayed. Your regular submission, however, will not be expedited like the private signing order will be. The membership credit will apply towards all fees until it is completely used up. Any unused credit would remain on your account to be used with another order. If that remaining credit is not used by your membership expiration date then any remaining credit would also expire.     Help Needed

    Good morning, Thank you for your message. We have just updated our system to now allow customers to change and update their credit card information directly online. If you click on the "Update Credit Card" button, you will see a page that has all the credit card information associated with each of your submissions. You can select all or some of those submissions if you wish to change the credit card info. If everything looks correct, however, you do not need to update anything. If the signing is not witnessed by an authorized CGC witness and directly submitted for grading, then the signature cannot be authenticated for Signature Series. Testimonials, photographs, video recordings, certificates of authenticity and any other proof of signing are not accepted. Any items that have already been signed would not qualify for Signature Series label. In most cases they would receive a green Qualified label. This allows the graders to ignore the signature for grading purposes and the book is not downgraded for the writing. Label Description | CGC (cgccomics.com) Generally, at or below a 6.0 the writing/signature on the cover no longer has a significant impact on the grade and our graders may feel it is not necessary to qualify the grade. They will factor the signature into grade and the book would receive a Universal (blue) label with the same notation of name on cover in marker. Please do not send in COAs but retain them for your records as they are not needed for grading and may not be returned to you.   16. Good morning, Thank you for your message. When you upgrade from the Premium level to the Elite you are charged the full price for the Elite membership. This is done because you will receive an additional $150 credit on top of the credit you already received as a Premium member. This will give you a total of $300 in credit during one membership year.   17. Good morning, Thank you for your message. This will not affect submissions already received that had USPS registered selected as the return shipping method. Those will still go out as requested on the form. This will just affect submissions received on or after July 5th. Any submission created after that date will not ship USPS registered mail unless the return shipping address is a PO Box then it will automatically ship using registered mail as FedEx does not ship to PO Boxes.     $150 credit?

    Hello, Regular Signature Series submissions would be signings done at shows with a CGC authorized witness that accompanies you to the signing. You would obtain the witness from either the CGC booth or that of a CGC authorized facilitator. The CGC Private Signings are those we advertise on our Events page where you send the book to us for the signing and we get the book signed for you here. You can check online auction sites to see what similar books of similar grade and condition are selling for to get an idea of value. You could also have the book appraised by a comic dealer.   23. Hello, You would only be able to request a retired label for a reholder if the book had that custom label when it was graded. You could not get that label added in a reholder if it did not have that label to begin with. If the book did not have a custom label when it was graded, you could only request a current custom label for a reholder in that situation. The retired labels are only available while supplies last for mechanical errors or reholders that originally had that label. We do not reorder any of the retired labels so once they are gone they are gone. We cannot guarantee the availability of those, even for a mechanical error or reholder.   24. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, we would not be able to put this into a concert poster slab as it would not be safe for the book. We have specific holders for comics and magazines that have a special inner well that the book sits into so it doesn't slide around in the holder. We do not have inner wells for the concert poster holders. The largest size books we can accommodate is: 11-1/2” tall 8-7/8” wide 1/2” thick I am sorry about that!   25. Good morning, Thank you for your message. Copies of Amazing Spider-Man #238 were manufactured with a free “Tattooz” sample & insert. To denote this, we initially had the Key Comments for the label simply say: “Tattooz inside”. A problem arose when copies were submitted that were missing the Tattooz. We would indicate in the “label text” portion of the label “TATTOOZ MISSING”. However, some people were confused because despite what the label text said, the Key Comment still read “Tattooz inside.” They did not understand that the Key Comment was meant for the book in general, while the label text was meant for that specific copy. To make it more clear and less confusing, we updated the Key Comment on the book to read ”Manufactured with tattooz insert & sample” so that people would hopefully no longer be confused about a label saying both “Tattooz inside” as well as “TATTOOZ MISSING”. For any copy that CGC has ever graded, if the tattooz are missing, it will specifically state so in the label text and also be marked as "INCOMPLETE". If the label text makes no mention of the tattooz, and the label does not say "INCOMPLETE", that means the Tattooz ARE present. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you!
