Really? I am very surprised -- I have seen a bunch of pages from issue 1 and every one has had some pretty beat up corners.. As for the coffee stain - I remember Issue 1 Page 2 had some some coffee stains..I'm pretty sure my page 19 has some coffee stains as well on the back. I guess its a matter of perspective though - here is a corner from 1 / 2 with coffee stains visible:

Were they even that apparent? I didn't see them in the pictures.. Apparently TM poured coffee over quite a few pieces of his early TWD stuff as almost any page from issues 1 and 2 seems to have some problems..at least that is what I have taken from watching all the auctions / pages up.. Any other WD1/2 people out there confirm? Also -- we might get lucky and see some high res scans of those 2 pieces in a little bit :hint: My Page #2 is coffee free Now if only it was a good page Jim What about the corners? are they all crisp or is there a part that is slightly bent / uneven / almost ribbed..but not too bad

Getting out while the show is peaking? Think it's going to drop? Curious why you are selling. Show will have just as good ratings next year...with the ratings it saw this past quarter, ads will go up in cost and i am sure the budget will go up..bigger budget will probably mean cooler special effects and cooler stunts plus wasnt there talk of a twd movie? or am i delirious?

I think I have bought more WD books off of Jeff than from anyone else off these boards or from eBay. I just look the other way to the whole Canadian thing. Before these boards, i never would have sent the amount of money i did to Jeff and Jim simply because they were in Canada. That being said, i've sent them too much money as it is, but my collection is greatful Dude, our countries are almost the same, as is our culture. We just get to enjoy more personal freedoms, and civil liberties than you do Jim And we're the best country in the world, so yes, we agree! Except your military still rides around on horses..

I hate to say this but I think the show will be a gigantic flop -- the comic is really cool - but the concept for TV just sounds SO TERRIBLY CHEESY...try and think about Chew without wincing at the thought of it being on tv...I can't..

9..I think? (Digging up the grave)..personally I like them all but I didn't wanna be that guy to buy everything.. Are you getting one? So yeah..I am guessing I am not alone in that the gray tones are way cooler than the pencils?

really? i would think if anything, the pencils are more still in development and the tones which are over the blue-lines are truer to the actual cover.. though, i suppose to nit-pick, both are appropriately the cover art to me..

I bought one of those covers..they are too pretty not to.. Can we talk about how much cooler the tones are over the pencils?? Why would anyone spend $600 on pencils when the grays are 250!
