Nice pick up on the Detective 27! I remember ordering this back in 1984. I think you had to send in a couple of proof of purchases from Oreo cookies or something. I know you can pick them up on eBay, but I sure wish that I had kept my original.

I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that the man portraying the police officer is Joe Simon.

I purchased 9 books from Mikes most recent sales thread and they are terrific! They not only look better in person than they did in the scans, but each one was in a Mylite 2 Mylar bag with an acid free backing board, so I didn't even need to rebag and board them. They were packed extremely well and got here very quickly. I will definitely buy more books from Mike, and I would highly recommend him to any and all potential buyers! Jeff

Just counted...1,957 Mostly Gold, Silver and Bronze with very little after 1989. No duplicates or drek, I've already gotten rid of that!
