  1. I looked it up... TWD #78 came out in October 2010, and the show aired that same month. I don't know what issue was out when AMC picked up the series, but would guess just after the first 48.
  2. I re-read #2 last night... (thumbs u Clean, slick, sharp, intriguing. Just good.
  3. mattbird I'm a fan. I know it's tough on MK doing so much of the book himself (writing, covers, art), but it's also one of the cool factors of the book. It has that indie feel and is almost an exlusive read since many haven't taken the plunge yet. I'm a little behind, but plan on reading #5 (and or more) this weekend. (thumbs u
  4. Everyone likes pie, including me. He bought a couples slabs from me and was quick to pay, very good communication, friendly, and I will do business again anytime! Thanks buddy! Ryan
  5. Bought two for $50 each a few months ago... seriously. Times be a changin'
  6. I wonder if Kirkman and crew thought the driver would be what everyone was talking about the week after, or if that would be a surprise to them (was it intentional or am I just an insufficiently_thoughtful_person)?
  7. I still love your site. Seeing the prices some of these raws are going for is mind-blowing. Raw PP (NM) for $150+ with days to go.
  8. Andrea knows the groups knows how to handle a few z-heads. This could have been done to earn the trust of the gov. completely, but they can play it like she's dark for a while. So many options. Once again, I'm probably wrong. But, we'll see.
  9. That's a great question! It was facing the gate, drop the cargo and go. Only, I think they didn't do this to place emphasis on the driver. The driver is key. Who dun it? We all want to know. I can see the shocker of it being Andrea (although I KNOW it doens't make sense).
  10. Not a hater, J (and not sure if this was directed at me). Just keeping it real. If I had one of the hottest books out, I would want to put out THE variant to be had at a con (or as a retailer appreciation). As I have said before, ultimately it helps Image by keeping the 'buzz' going, encouraging new readers, and increasing sales. Sales = extended life of the book and other positive side effects. (thumbs u
  11. I'm gonna throw in a $300 bid just to up. Go for it!
  12. Not me. It's interesting. A six day auction @ $150+ could inflate the prices of the others within the week. Never thought about that before (like that).
  13. I think all creators are getting quite an education from this board. Just hope they know this board isn't representative of the normal comic collector. What do we represent then? Maniac collector?
  14. The same people who get duped into buying magical grab bags. The world is filled with stupid people, and there will always be people who try and take advantage of them. Note to self: see if I can back out of those 37 grab bag orders
  15. I was thinking the same thing (photo). Who props a comic like that??
