It's hard to say... so many factors involved. I don't think this book suffered from variant overkill like some other titles. no, i agree to an extent. the thing that Saga has going for it is there is One variant (not counting Ghost) The one thing Saga has going for it is awesomeness. In the end, variants don't kill/hurt a book... content does (I have spoken).

Very nice! I jumped on the Saga bandwagon too late, but I did manage to land these from a couple of LCSs in December for cover or less (50% of boxing day sales are ). I had a #1 from earlier via a trade, and landed a #2 and #6 (not shown) in another deal on the boards for cover. +1 I do not have my group shot ready... but soon.

I can't either... Even if this series doesn't take off (which it will - the oracle told me), surely this book will be fetching double cover in six months (on the low end). Go ahead and mark this and call me out in six months. I may be wrong, but I don't think so...

Bought a set of 1-8 + ghost for $112 shipped almost two weeks ago (right at the beginning of the insanity). $112 / 9 = $12.44 each So, I was pretty excited when I saw the #1.... until.... The #2 looks great. The others are NM+ at least. Not too bad. I don't think I can clean that back of the #1. Look link ink rubbing on the back... Oh well. Still a Sag-Guh #1. When it get up to Chew #1 prices it won't matter to much if it's a 9.0-9.2 (no spine stress - typical bindary tears).

In a little bit I'll show you a saga #1 that I paid $12.44 for (came in today). True story. Stay tuned...

I'd take that $125 though and buy: A loft of bread and some peanut butter 2-liter of Coke A subscription to Dog Fancy Magazine A camping hammock and $87 worth of jelly beans and have me a party THAT or 1 copy of Sah-Gah #1 and and just the bread, peanut butter, and soda (if there's enough money left).

In general, the paper used for the saga books (it seems) is easier to "tick" than some other image books. Your thoughts... ? Seems to be a lighter stock (or am I being crazy again).

Almost exactly in the middle of book three (it's great, better than book two). I'll finish it in the next few days and move on to #4. Looking forward to Saga #9 (coming in the mail Friday)!! Are you reading the TPB or deluxe? Hardcovers...
