  1. Just got my 2nd prints from Midtown. 2 were decent, 1 double ripped at the top. :pullhair:

It's getting to the point where I have to order 2 of everything I want from them just to make sure I get one that isn't . doh!

Me too. Yeah, that book (sketch) didn't stay up there long. I should have bought one before now, but $80-$100 was a lot to drop on a single issue for me.

  2. id also like to add .... im not sure what else you guys do as far as hobbies go, but at less then $3 a book, how much is there really to "loose" when picking up multiple copies of this (or any, really) book?

Do it a few hundred times a year and see how it feels.

That's one of the reasons I don't like multiple prints (as we previously discussed).

  3. Anyone see this weeks census?

Regular Cover CGC 9.8: 15 copies

Variant Cover CGC 9.8: 5 copies

    Third Eye/Awesome CGC Cover 9.8: 14 copies, CGC 9.4: 1 copy

Sketch Cover CGC 9.8: 16 copies

Just saw it and thanks for the update on the boards!

(thumbs u - As a hobbist who likes graded books as well, picking up multiples helps to find the best possible book for grading purposes. I have a few series that I by two books of (one for reading and one for potentially grading).

  5. WTF? Why are the Third Eye issues on Ebay suddenly at $70+? Was there some tv show announcement overnight that I missed? (shrug)

You didn't hear the news? AMC, HBO, and showtime all bought the rights to Revival and will all be putting it on the air. So not just one tv show announcement, but 3 tv shows!

    Sure.... meh

  6. when you guys do unload all your revival's, make sure you don't include in the listing a snapshot showing your 50 slabs all stacked together...it's kind of a massive buzz kill when people see that much stock out there.

Not everyone knows about CGC census and not everyone wants to think they're buying something that's so plentiful and readily available.

unless of course you're selling multiples in the same auction.

  7. This is my first spoiler question from issue one (I re-read today)...

Did you notice that the alien thing said where's the baby in weird alien speak? What are your thoughts on that? I totally dug granny coming back in the second issue preview.

I mention this about 12 pages back and think it went unnoticed. Maybe the baby was an Alien and was first to land (crash) and caused all these events. I think someone mentioned that t might have meant Cooper but I would think he was to old to be classed as a baby.

Sorry I missed your original comment on this. Another thought is that "he" could be just repeating what he's heard. We'll see. Issue 2 looks awesome.

  9. I can't help but feel that this story is leading us to understand our (humans) beginning roots. I mean, a woman with wings? A father with horns? A soul bound to us? A new type of race because of the merging of these two sworn enemies? Seems all leading up to a reveal that we were born from two warning races meant to be something special...

    hm

    That's warm and fuzzy... :cloud9:

    I'll fuzzy you! :slapfight:

    :whee:
  10. No he didn't. Didn't you read? It's a "stock photo". lol

    lol Stock photo my :censored:

    I reported him

    :roflmao:

It's not like they'll do anything. I usually get the best results when I call instead if email.

I think they will kill the auction.
