  1. Did you actually go through the pages? It might not be on the outside. Grades don't just rely on little ticks on the spine contrary to what some people complain about when they get their books back. (thumbs u

Agreed. I was going through a few Revival #1 two days ago and the covers looked great, BUT there was a slight dent/cut on a few of the inside pages (looks like a manufacturer defect). I put these on the lower end of my stack.

  2. These half-covers all needed the virgin cover treatment or relocation of the information. It's not bad enough that it's half a page of art to begin with, so let's aggravate the situation by stamping things all over it.

I was thinking of getting a couple of #100 second prints if they were going to move through quietly, but I don't know now about getting any of these additional printings now.

I would guess that there is more likely to be a big print run for all of them so it won't be like with the earlier 2nd's that are actually harder to find, and worth a bit of coin.

But maybe orders of #100 2nd will still be low due to current overstock.

Do you guys think that any of these could still be a sleeper and actually be worth a few bucks more, later on down the trough?

Hard to say. I'll grab a few. If it's the hotter version I'll have some, if not I won't get hit to badly.

  3. do they even give grader notes on moderns?

I read somewhere they did if it's 9.4 or lower.

Guess i need to rephrase, why would you pay for grader notes for this book? Obviously something really big was missed.

    I wouldn't... some would.

  4. Thinking about it, it might round out nicely as follows:

#100 Third Printing, #101 & #102 Second Printings will "complete" the "overall picture" for this arc with the "right side" of this six-issue cover spread

    I think your right here...

It is right. I can confirm this.

Go on then, since you're dying for someone to ask: how do you know?

    +1

  5. anyone still seeing stacks of Cover A in their LCS or are they drying up....none that i've been able to find, Cover B is rare as Hen's teeth.

I live in the part of the universe without a LCS, so I have to do my digging around online  None of the towns close to mine have a LCS either. My home-town use to have one, but it didn't last. Oh well...

  6. i still think it's a bit too early to start unloading Revival in lots. and yes i realize profit is profit, i just personally like more profit overall, considering the fees, time spent, etc. it's a gamble either way.

the cbldf is going for around $100 just by itself, a lot of 4 including the cbldf & a 1:10 & third eye sold for around $105.00.

    I agree.

  7. nah, i'm like 30 for 30 for recent submissions. I'm a very harsh grader. I just can't break the 9.8/9.9 barrier. I'm not able to cherry pick direct from Diamond like alot of boardies can.

though one of them did have a very thin printers line going from left to right about one inch long from the spine, no color break.

Where do I apply to be a cherry-picker? lol

  8. sending off 2 CBLDF & 3 Cover B's to be graded this morning. Should be easy 9.8.

Good luck! I'm thinking about sending a few in toward the end of August (fast track) after I get back and sell my copies of Walking Dead 100 (chromium). Posts some pics or let us know your grades!

  9. its not sold out. They only allow pre order for a certain amount of time. They do that on every pre order

Good to know. I'm going to go ahead and pre the #3 and #4 too. Not many copies though.

  10. I'm in guys...

    Yay, one more converted

Yep. I just stumbled on this thread (usually hang in the sales and grading threads), but I picked this up when it first came out and have added some copies as the price has risen. Hoping for another Chew.

Story is good. Grandma was freaky (waiting to see if her brain will grow back). I think this series has potential.
