  1. Well that was quick. Congrats guys! Any horror coming up?
  2. It doesn't seem logical that someone would risk resubmitting a 9.8 Silver age key. The risk of returning as a 9.6 far outweighs the gain going from OW/W to W I think. Doesn't smell right.
  3. Omg you mean it gets worse? I have 2 under 3.5 yrs old and they are going down around 8pm. Sometimes 830 for the older one... I cant imagine 10
  4. This is BY FAR the most fun sales thread of the year and I have been looking forward to this for months haha My fav part is when people get all crazy and it doesn't matter what Dale posts next, there are 7 posters with the "i'll take it" icon ready and they get posted instantly Good luck everyone! Going to be a great thread!
  5. Yeah, that's sort of all I was getting at. The end of the hobby is nowhere near in site. There's a whole new generation of "big purchasing power" on the horizon (if not already here!) 50-60 years from now? Who knows. Not for the lifetime of these 30 something year olds though.
  6. Tough to say. I do know that many of us liked Super-Heroes and comic books early on, and that as we got older, started careers, etc that we went from "monthly" books to "Key issues." Not entirely sure if the movies helped BUT I do know that they have definitely helped us look into some new titles/characters we otherwise would have never really cared or knew about. So I guess movies have in fact helped us venture into diff titles but many of us were comic fans to begin with.
  7. Define "younger"? I'm 34 and have amassed almost all the big SA/BA Marvel/DC keys. I plan to keep going. I've got (hopefully) a LOT of runway ahead of me. My friends are my age and in a similar boat with their collections. I speak and meet a lot of collectors my age. We plan to pass this along to our children. My point is, there's still a lot of us "younger" generation that are buying large books. We should have many years ahead of us. If you're talking 6-16 year olds then clearly it is far to early to say, but like I mentioned, we 30 somethings prob plan to pass this hobby down with our children.
  8. Not posting any raw keys?
