I was there earlier. I had my 1 copy in my pull and there was only one other copy on the shelf when I left (I didn't buy it). That was about 11:15 today. U wouldn't have wanted the one on the shelf anyways. Bottom left corner was pretty much ripped. The WD #102's that were on the shelf looked like they got run over by a semi truck. Luckily the one in my pull looked ok.
However, now that i've been published in it, I expect sell outs across the country.

Can't wait for my cgc 10.0 to show up today. That'll shut u up with your 9.4 talk.
-
You are in there too? That's pretty funny. I'm pretty sure I wrote in because someone posted on here that they were giving away something for asking a question. I can't remember exactly.
Either way, if anyone would like to send me their copy, i'd be happy to arrange a signing event and get a facilitator to witness if they'd like a HugeRosen CGC SS Revival #3.
EDIT: Yes, first published work. Makes it even more valuable for SS opportunity.
EDIT 2: Acutally, thinking back, I have been featured on espn.com and si.com asking questions about fantasy football and stuff of that nature, but first printed work.
-
I probably asked them for advice on how to avoid getting 9.4's.
-
Issue 3 featured special guest appearance from our very own Michael Rosen in the letters section.
No mess?
I picked it up but i didn't read it yet. I don't even remember what I wrote,
I was probably sucking up to someone and sound like some pathetic fanboy

Anyone know where they are in the process for non-fast tracked modern? Like anyone have a submission date for their comics that they recently got back? I sent some in July 1st before they changed the time frame to 70 days.
-
Just showing folks how it should be done.
I have quite a few transactions going. I was overly optimistic on how long it would take to wrap them up.
Can I buy a WD #1 with time payments of $1 per day? You can leave the boards when it's paid off.

I'll pick up some extras here in the US and send them over. $50 each plus shipping.
He doesn't want your 9.4s.
My LCS has put out a bunch of 9.4's lately. The Revival #2's from there were all reader copies at best.

Looks like another exclusive hardcover similar to the SDCC one will be at NYCC. 1500 this time instead of 1000. Also a ToT hardcover limited to 1000.

Looks like someone may have gotten a pretty sweet deal depending on condition.
What is they say about a deal too good to be true ? Ugggghh

John is a fairly common name. Could always re-sell to another John. Or name your child after yourself.

I want the
copies. Is that a super rare variant?
-
What venue and format will these be auctioned off? If unknown, how have they done so in the past?
That's the million dollar question. Some have mentioned Ebay or live auction. Nothing confirmed that I know of.
-
WD was almost 8K for #1. #2 and #3 had slightly lower prints.
-
Finally decided to grade my #33 Blue 2nd Print and got confirmation today that it is a 9.8
It took me forever searching for a nice one of these! Sooo HAPPY
I'm very jealous!
+1 I think mine is a 9.4. 9.6 on a good day.
-
When I originally posted about it, I was thinking 1K for them but everyone else seemed to be in the $300-500 range on these. I am hoping are right and I could get one in that range because even if it's for charity, I still have bills to pay.

Remember when this thread was updated like twice a week only by whetton (sp?)? Oh the good 'ol days.
-
Because you sleep?
Guess i need to give up on sleep until I finally get a copy of #1 and #2 to complete my collection

mess !!!!
Why do I always miss these?
-
They were all auctioned live / proxy bids.
Hopefully as these auctions begin everyone here will provide updates of where they are being sold. (thumbs u
Agreed. And I hope the price you mentioned is right too. I'm definitely in for $500 or less. I'm sure there will be some of the lesser known artists for that. I'm thinking the kirkman one goes for the most (depending on how awful it looks).
-
Live auction would be cool, but I'd like to have a chance to at least try to bid and traveling to a live auction isn't going to happen. I'm assuming these will all go for over 1K?
Maybe Tony Moore will do one. Bet that one would bring in serious coin.
-
So only 100 available? I wonder how much the kirkman drawn one will sell for
EDIT: Might as well start debating what color label these will get...
