I am planning on keeping a full run of this at 9.8+ but I have other raws that should grade 9.8. I've just never been first to eBay and figured it'd be fun. Although If it sells for $20, i'll be pissed,

I just got my batch of books back from CGC from SDCC.

 

It's not a 10.0 Sketch edition, but I was happy with this... especially with having to carry it gingerly so I didn't get zombie blood or sweat on it.

I'm really tempted to sell my last #1 cgc 9.8 on eBay just as a social experiment. I have 13 watchers on the 9.4 third eye. Someone better buy it,

I only have 30 copies. Not enough to roll around on. And I don't want to crack the cases of my graded copies. Couple years ago I could've, but I've put on some pounds lately.

Yeah, I'd figure the print run is around 20K which would put cover B around 2K, third eye at 1000 and CBLDF at 500.

I wish more of the threads talked about the books themselves but when you have a month to wait, it's usually spoiler tags for the first week, then general discussion for a week, then speculation and eBay prices for 2 weeks until the new issue comes out.

Those are some major dings there. Guy should definitely refund/replace.

I guess I just never see them on eBay and haven't really tried to see the price on it. I assumed it was like a $50 book. Guess I was waaaaaaaay off.

I didn't have a problem with them. I ordered one initally, then ordered another and they were very helpful with combining the shipping and I even got the variant on the monday before the issue was released on wednesday. So I got to read the comic 48 hours in advance which was cool.

It acutally would be my 4th. I got 1 that was justified (ToT), 1 that should've been a 9.6 (WD #27) and 1 that should've been a 10.2 (Revival variant)

I'm upset I only have 2 of those. And i'm not sure if they will be 9.8's. One has a chance. Other i'd think is a 9.6. Stupid Midtown.

And a higher price. Have to cover their eBay fees.

With the amount of $ they made off of #100, you'd think they would put out 50 variants per issue

I can't believe Third Eye sold out. I would try to message them on e-bay and see if they have any left. I saw they upped their price from $15 to 18 a couple days ago but I'd be willing to bet they have some left, just don't have them up right now.

quite a few copies of CBLDF on ebay right now...all but 2 mention some type of flaw. From what i heard from SDCC there may not be a ton of 9.8s available.

Heard same thing. Similar to the Poyo with the corner dings and the WD Escape variant. Not many great copies out there.

Speaking of the census - did anybody notice that there are now 204 CGC 9.8 copies of Saga #1? Wow.

I've got 6 waiting to be graded non-fast tracked a month ago. So there should be 210 sometime in December when they grade them.
