Pretty sure both are from #37. McCollum pencilled and Anderson inked.The dialogue fits the story... Ill confirm when I get home. They are both sweet pages! You didnt get them from Comic Art Con today, did you? I cant make it...

Thats a really sweet splash page, and yea both are purchases I made at the art con, it was my first time going so I was pretty excited about it. I was shocked to see them at the price they were labelled, and knew I had to snap them up. The dealer also had a nice Raphael pin-up by Eastman, but was a little out of my price range.

Hey, guys I recently bought two TMNT pages, by Bill Anderson, and from what I can tell these pages are either from #37, or #42, and was wondering if anybody could look in those books since I don't have either one, and verify it for me if they wouldn't mind. The page numbers are 10, and 18.

Seriously, 9.9 on that Creepy? Why wasn't it a 10?

 

Why not a 9.8? Who knows.

 

Grading at that level is a mystery to me, I just thought it looked nice so I sent it in. My jaw dropped when I pulled it out of the box.

 

I hear ya, I've had a few of those myself, but sometimes it was because the grades went the other way.

I was there today Cap 100 8.0 with slight (A) Color touch on cover. I was half expecting it though, also got a ASM 50 4.5, so not so bad.

The sleeve is 12x15.5 and I believe the prints are actually 11x15.

Are they the standard 11x17?

A lot of the pages I was interested in sold, but one I liked was still available so I snagged it.

I believe since the sig is on the inside the green label would not apply since its considered "destruction" Paper Airplane can probably answer this question better than me.

 

With that said, I wonder how much a 9.9 or 10.0 green label of ASM 300 would command on the market? hmmm

I would guess a 10 would be in the 20k range.

I can't believe how this whole thread got so out of control by something so simple. This is the kinda stuff the popcorn emoticon was invented for.

I put a $1 tracking bid on it.

I think with the grade some people will stay away from it, which might be able to let someone get a physical 9.4-.9.8 for a lower price, but the triple sig might more then make up for that.

It has three sigs, but only two were counted, the McFarlane one wasn't wistnessed, which accounts for for the grade, since this does not look like a 8.5 to me. The only thing I don't like about it is that the Stan Lee signature goes over the McFarlane one.

Looks like he was also trying to sell a Supes 1 a few weeks back. Nobody bought it it looks like. Wonder if they had if that would have been another scam?

This boy's father can hide behind the defense of "my kid did it all on his own", but in the end if things aren't made right to everyone, he's going to be legally responsible for his minor son's actions.
