  1. buyers from my last sales thread = 13 have made payment or confirmed sending payment = 12 haven't heard from = 1 (guess who) honest feedback from October = priceless Almost a month after the sale, I got payment today. Better late then never I guess. One suggestion for Comcasthawk, communicate with sellers, let them know you may be a little late with payment. The comic you bought from me was going on Ebay this Saturday. Your book will ship Monday or Tuesday via USPS Priority mail.
  2. This is what I love about these boards. Two people can disagree, debate and sometimes argue, but when it comes down to it, we can put other things aside in order to do what's important, collecting comic books! Ahhh....go fist yourself!!!... oh...and thanks for dough for the BA #27...

  5. That was one of the best posts I've read on these boards in the four years I've been here. Thanks for taking the time to write it. Having said that, don't hold you breath for a reply from Heritage. They tend to only post in a "drive by" fashion and only when it suites/self serves them. I think the short response to your post is: The Lee books were treated like they were for one reason and one reason only. $
  6. Yea, they are nice, but my point is, what does this mean: "CGC declined to give the designation "File Copy" to low-to-mid-grade books". As nice as these are, are they not "mid grade"? And like you said, many were worse then this.
  7. I must be missing something here. Did I not understand that correctly?
  8. Well now that is interesting. I guess grade isn't a factor for CGC to call a collection a pedigree. Interesting....
  9. 1. The books were not certified as a pedigree, they were certified as a collection. 2. Steve B. has stated in the past that if you throw enough business CGC's way that they will put what ever you want on the label. Cash talks.
  10. I have several. Not all books were signed. Correct. I have three that are not signed.
  11. I'm mostly a SA and BA collector, but when a GA cover catches my eye I have been known to buy a GA book from time to time. Here is what I currently have. It's a dumpy little collection, nothing like what's been posted in this thread, but I like em.
  12. If you actualy read the story (crazy, I know) you'll learn that he's not actually bearing all that weight. One of my favorite covers BTW.
