Tessie the Typist 20 - Canadian Edition! Similar contents to the 'Mercan edition, but they took out a few of the stories to make it a 36 page comic instead of a 52 pager. It has some spine splitting, but attached at both staples and inside. Page quality nice off white. Since it's smaller and Canadian, I'll ask about half of what I estimate it would have been worth as an American edition - $75.

Buddies in the U. S. Army 2. One of those one or two off titles from Avon. GGA by Mort Lawrence. Decent 4.0 range, Nice pages, intact all the way through. A 4.5 sold early last year for $131, so I'll ask $110. SOLD!!!

Sad Sack 16. I don't usually look at these, but it came in a small collection and it's a really early issue! Even the publisher is still excited (says 16th Fun Packed issue - like they can't believe they are still making the title!!). Nice 4.0 glossy smooth cover with usual wear around the edges and spine. Asking $20.

Tip Topper 16 - 2nd (or 3rd?) Peanuts in comics! Nice copy that is overall a 4.0-4.5 but has rust on the staples (not too terrible) so I think that brings the grade down a bit. Pages are White to Off White, really nice. Everything solidly attached. Last 3.0 was in the $150 range, a 3.0 for sale now for $300, so I'll ask $200.

Super-hero lot. Again, bits and pieces, but lots of fun! Includes part of cover of Sensation 32 (not the interior), Modern Comics 49, Wow 56, The Spirit 5, Plastic Man 18, All Flash 23, Captain Marvel 63 and 64, Feature 112, Smash 75, Police 64, Crack 45 plus a few others. Missing wraps and maybe cfs. $25

Next, Fiction House lot - I didn't try to figure out the issues, but any Matt Baker fans will be happy! Approximately 12 books with some random pages (parts of these books? From other books? Who knows?) Lots and lots and lots of GGA. $20

Black Rider 8 (1) raw low grade - 1.5 or so? Cover mostly split, but still holding on to itself. Detached. Complete. Cf detached at top staple. Pages nice and supple. Take a look at the scans and pic. What's so special about this old Marvel Western from March of 1950, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. That man in that there mask is none other than Stan 'The Man' Lee himself! Way before he was making cameos in movies, or making history with his revamping of comic books, he was playing cowboy! And no one knew it for many a year. Once the cat was out of the bag most of these were pulled out of collections and submitted for signatures (19 ss on the census, over twice the number of universal labels), but it's not a common book at all.
