  1. Kudos to redhook for his valuable advice on handling wedding expenses (and finances in general), the book on finances, and the FF issues! Thanks! Your advice is always welcome and much appreciated!
  2. I collect wrestling tapes. I've got a few hundred. Nothing close to the size of the collections of some guys I trade with, but it's something I enjoy (none of the current junk on TV; gimme old school!). I also collect concert bootlegs on CD-R. I LOVE being able to listen to concerts of my favorite bands - especially ones who don't seem to be in any hurry to release another CD before I have grandkids (*cough* Van Halen *cough*). You guys that collect/trade MMA tapes, drop me a line. I've got a guy who collects/trades wrestling tapes who also collects/trades MMA stuff. It may be a new contact for you guys.
  3. Kudos to ninanina for a smooth transaction - I got the Green Lantern issues in the mail today. Thanks so much!!!
  4. Geez Louise...unbelievable collection you have there, Timely. I don't know if I'm more IMpressed or DEpressed! Congratulations on your collection, and thanks for sharing them all with us (virtually speaking, of course:)). I don't blame you for keeping them at the bank!
  5. I used to have the Godzilla that had the hand that would shoot off, too!!! And a Mazinga that had rockets for fingers (you could shoot those, too). I used to have them fight each other.
  6. I've thought about collecting old monster movies and hard-to-find horror movies. I used to love those things! I'll get around to it sometime.
  7. Wrestling tapes and bootleg concerts on CD-R (audio only).
  8. Thanks, Rich! Kudos to you, too! I was able to find some Captain America stuff, some some cartoon episodes on DVD, and wrestling tapes to trade for his autographed WW comic and TPBs. I hope to trade with him again SOON. Kudos also to Joanna for trading some GREAT silver age Green Lantern, Flash, and Justice League of America comics for the reader copy of Sensation Comics #52 I posted about (and thanks to whomever directed her to the thread about it). She honestly sent more than she received, and I won't forget that. Kudos to Lighthouse for offering those TPBs at such a great price. Kudos to drbanner for selling me several nice reading copies at a great price. Kudos to redhook for hooking me up with some NICE Fantastic Four issues as an engagement present. I will not forget your generosity. I'll buy you that beer the next time I'm in NYC! And big kudos to Timely for his kindness, generosity, and love for his friend who recently died. I appreciate and respect his efforts to raise money for the funeral. Kudos also to those who have donated to help him. For those who have sent $$$ to me via PayPal, I'll be mailing the check on Friday morning. Chris
