    Really love the art, and liked the story. Trying to pick up the various covers. I got my hands on a Sean Phillips variant, but there seems to be some trouble with the spines on them. No creases or anything, but a bit of white/dis-coloration. Anyone else found this problem? Went through about 20 and they all had some form of it.

    I bought it raw for $20. I thought the cover was great and the print run would be low. +1 That cover really stands out and the colors work great with the art. I can't recall anything else looking quite like it. To me, this is what a variant cover should be. No glitz just for the sake of glitz, just a good looking addition. Oh I absolutely agree, I have 4 of them raw atm.

    I've read it as well and I think its solid, I'm just wondering why that sale is so high. Also re: Todd, picked up the TPB today and I really have to agree with boardies who say its something special. The humor in it is something to behold.

    Forbidden Planet had one of their variants in the window and I was so excited, when I went in I grabbed a bunch of hte 2nd printing and asked for the copy in the window, to which they denied me.

    Wow for once Ebay actually worked out for me. I saw a ASM 50 7.0 OW/W going for $240 with 2 hours left, so I put in a bid of $250 GPA is $300+. Was sure I'd get sniped but ended up winning. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

    Was there any water/dampness damage? I don't see how else the con exclusive could get dinged if you thought it was a 9.8. The stock its printed on is pretty durable, and since its white, you'd be able to see any off-color marks real easy.
