Perhaps discussed in another thread, but was thinking about this and have some thoughts. IMHO the title with the best artists is The Fantastic Four. Kirby, Buscema, Perez, Byrne - tough to beat - well over 250+ issues I believe. # of issues is deciding factor for me.

Always looking to upgrade a book in my collection (registry set). I've recently discovered a pedigree copy of a book CGC 9.8, which I also have in CGC 9.8 - no pedigree. Sweet! I think to myself as I check out the book further. Book looks good, nice wrap, freshly graded, and OW-White pages. Hmmmm. My book has White pages. The ol' mantra "Buy The Book, not the Grade" comes to mind. Which I adhere to even moreso in the fact I don't even like sig books for the most part because I feel the book has been "damaged/altered" to some degree. To each his own I guess. I know sig books go for more $$ and get a registry bump as well. I'm not sure what value pedigree adds to either $$ or registry points. Not sure that I care as I feel book is the book, not the pedigree. I've decided I'm not going to pursue this pedigree. Reasonable or crazy? Regards

Here's my favorite Bronze X-Men cover - great colors and action! Finally bit the bullet for a 9.8 No way my OOC is 9.8 - perhaps better than my other graded OOC books(not pressed) if I pressed and subbed. But I'd do 129 before and see how that works out. Woo Hoo!

Didn't start collecting these until 97 - awesome cover. Have all from there. GS1 and 94 were out of range then and still are, however I did work out a trade for this GS1 in 90's - Had to part ways for my What-If's 1-20. Eventually subbed this book along with some of my other OO copies. Seems like I took better care of books as collecting continued. Would love to work on higher grade run of the Claremont/Byrne issues after I complete my BA Avengers set.

Hello, Perhaps this is known, just not by me. I know customer service is not, but are books processed on weekends? Regards
