    Kang for me is the worst villain possible. He's impossible to truly defeat since there's unlimited versions of him. Defeat one, but wait, here's Kang from one second earlier! With his access to any technology from any time he's the ultimate Deux Ex Machina character. Time travelers suck.

    Perhaps, but Allred acknowledges John Buscema in the sig. That should be the bare minimum for a homage.

    Unless the new cover says "Thanks to 'artist'" or something I consider it a swipe. For me a homage has to mention the reference.

    Yeah, I missed this thread back when it happened and only found out about it on another comic site. Not only was the book replaced, there's no way that should be a 9.6.

    I'd love to know what the writer thinks "vintage" is when dealing with comics.

    I guess if you didn't actually read the comic you might think #24 was her first (or first full) appearance. But if you did read it you would know #23 should always have been noted as first appearance. So it's more because of erroneous info than value changing it.
