"Close up pics of a single comic" in a 10 for $10 batch. "Has the case got any scratches" "Can I come around and pay you cash" "I didn't get it - tracking says you did - it was stolen / my housemate signed for it / I'm going to come down and kick your head in" etc etc etc "I don't have the money - can I pay for it in 3 weeks" " It's for my Son / Daughter / Hamsters Xmas present - can I buy it for 80% under the price you have" And my fave - "I only have $10 and my kid is sick" - well go buy some medicine, not a bloody comic....... Thanks very much - sorts most things out. I saw that Voldy DOES notate Aliens #1 specifically as 1st Hicks and Newt. Never understood why CGC didn't - so I wondered if I had the wrong book. I have the Heavy metal with Aliens - definatly the 1st app of the Nostromo crew. Plus Jones too I think. Big shout out to @F For Fake - Cheers Wheres the beer glasses emoji gone

No It's an Australian firm in Brisbane. Heard mixed reports - small time operation. I will say though, their slabs are awesome. Seriously - best on the market. Bomb-Proof, and clear as can be. (not the ones shown above which seem to be different - I guess because it's a single page ) I guess their rep in Australia is between CBCS and PGX if that makes sense. I haven't used them myself, but I did buy a book that was graded by them. Grade was spot on, so I guess that's all you can ask for. There is a website if you want to see more (I'm not going to link it for obvious reasons)

I liked the ones that were achievable at home with a lot of practice. The later ones take months of work and thousands of dollars and seem to transcend into commercial 'custom' works for clients. Certainly interested in the smaller ones which, with trial and error, seem doable at home and on a small budget. Not ones which need a fumigator tank installed in your workroom! Fun stuff Bosco
