  1. probably - with a toilet break every 10 minutes... Man I'm getting old, but Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt could play guitar with the best of them.
  2. Cool band back in the day.
  3. Anyone think he looks a *little* like the Saint of Killers from Preacher?
  4. Somehow we seem to have time-travelled back to the '90's. Every-one cancel their orders,I'll buy one and we can all post it to each other after reading. We will still all have read it before #2 comes out.... 150,000 - be lucky to shift 20,000. I just don't get the business plan for this at all. Image are going to get about 130,000 comics for firestarters. There are some outright bafflingly illogical events happening this month for sure.
  5. It's a mini with a 150,000 print run?? My head hurts.
  6. Lucky this isn't the real world then eh?
  7. No. I'm very employed. Just a joke that went over your head Most things do. You should know that...
  8. It's just a constant embarrassment to see you post on this forum. Carry on. If I cause embarassment, whats it going to be like for you when you finally get to kiss a girl? You mean guys who collect comics can kiss girls?!? That's a Go Daddy commercial right there! They already have a spokesman Ryan, you are a funny sob!
  9. Lucky we didn't listen to the Legal Eagles in CG isn't it mate? Between PP,Revival, Bedlam,6th Gun and Saga we should all be living in a homeless shelter. I'm all for a bit of scepticism but some of the pizzle-taking must be biting a few on the bum!
  10. Thats where you are wrong CBT (and I don't mean me in this) - not any old d-bag has the means to pay for 1000 copies. Generally (again - not me) the ones who order in big quantities can afford the initial outlay, and the potential loss. At $20 odd bucks per slab in those quantities, thats not much of a risk. I'd never have the guts to do it. But I'm sure some have before.
  11. #108 - you that confident in Ezekiel mate? I ordered 10 to B+B and forget about for a few years just on the off-chance. Have you heard any long term plans for Tiger-Man? I have a lot of time for your posts, they are usually very perceptive, so why do you think its a potential key?
  12. I don't think it is. Newer episodes are discussed now re: the story. There is no financial value in them as the print runs have hit 70k+. You can only chat about 1 issue for so long. The fans are still here (I include myself) but the flippers have moved on to pastures new. It always is like this. Savvy people are still looking for those nice early #1 - #53 collections, the ones with no aptitude for the work, (as flipping is work - hard work, involving research, research and research and establishing a good pool of repeat buyers..) are just following the herd. GPA is a must, as is the ability to think for yourself. The last attribute is lacking on this forum in particular. The Walking Dead is not 'down the pecking order'. The sheep have just moved onto a different field. I guarantee you - absolutely guarantee - that in 12 months when NWM is gone and forgotten,TWD #1 - #10 plus #19, #27 and #92 will be going strong - if not stronger.
  13. I know the GPA price for #53 has eased a little so maybe Raws will as well. I've got a couple "in the system" somewhere and I know Joeys just posted a couple of boxes my way. If you want, you could always PM in a week or two and I'm sure we could work something out. Time payments for a boardie are always ok (thumbs u
  14. I thought MR was a certainty for Rosita the second I saw her in the book, especially as shes now much more of a fighter. Harrelson is too big a star though surely, and probably not muscular enough. The guy from 'Arrow' if he can grow a handlebar would be good. You reckon they will backtrack to the farm and re-tell the comic meeting there? I don't personally. I think Abe,Rosita and Eugene will be part of a functional military unit. One has to come into the series eventually, and ties in with my idea of Woodbury/Prison amalgamating and beginning the fightback against the Zombies. Abe was a very well fleshed out character.
  15. its like a moth to the flame with you Andy! whenever #92 is mentioned, you come a running in it's defense you and i both know the public is dumb. Yeah, but I still love Abe.... Yeah #92 is a wierd one mate - Jesus is well, pretty boring really, isn't he? I can only surmise Kirkman has something spectacular planned. However if #92 raw is still going for $30ish and slabs are now hitting $170 - well the Public have spoken. I'm happy to sub for $100+ profit as long as they are selling. But yeah,it is a mystery wht Jesus is the next 'big' one. Never should have killed off Abe tbh.
  16. It's just a constant embarrassment to see you post on this forum. Carry on. If I cause embarassment, whats it going to be like for you when you finally get to kiss a girl?
  17. Jesus has been going for what, 17 issues? Abe went for 40+ The Gov for 30ish Father Gabriel ( ) about 3 apps Michonne is pretty much the longest living survivor except those from the Atlanta group. Kirkman said he will be a long-term character. A cgc #92 9.8 sold a few days ago for $170, so it doesn't matter one iota what you guys think,as far as the Public is concerned,#92 is now a key issue. It is what it is, I'm afraid.
  18. Exactly as K said above. I don't mind pre-advertised IN-HOUSE variants, but to say no, and then be upto 4 and counting is BS. Luckily Midtown agreed to cancel - they didn't have to but did. I guess they had more than enough people waiting. As for Ghost and virus, if they both pay Image, why would Stephenson et al not take both orders. Its not like integrity is a strong suit of his really,is it?
  19. I don't care about the print run Ryan - it is what it is. I thought Larry might have shared his virus with you - just asking was all. Have the Ghost AND Virus ever had a variant for the same book? This may be a first, and should be quite interesting if it transpires. I can't see why Image would object, Stephenson seems to print what he likes, when he likes, so having a Ghost AND Virus shouldn't be an issue? What do you think mate? I cancelled my order so have a care factor of Zero. A head to head of Ghost vs Virus would be "facinating"...(Said with best Mr Spock voice)
  20. Good question - very good question. A lot I would think.
  21. Larry tells you everything Ryan - fess up! What does the virus look like...
  22. I think you are looking for the fatty who puts his hat on back to front
  23. I'll remember you said that Why would he be wrong?
