Again Pie - the only person arguing is you.No need to bring Wushy into this - he can (and has) spoken for himself. Check the posts after my first comment - they all agreed! This isn't about being a 'sage' or an 'apple' its about trying to not let people lose a ton of money. Its not 'everyones' Cheerios - just those that bought this book - which you would be one of. You are unable to NOT take this personally as you have a fair few runners in the race. Stop suggesting its just me saying this. Go back a few pages and look for yourself. There are a fair few people saying the same. Go argue the toss with them. If NWM is soo good, why are there multiple unsold copies of 2 + 3 sitting on the shelves here in Melbourne? If you bother to go back 10 pages or so,you will see I offered to buy them and send them over for cover - not one taker. This is a board and ES driven frenzy. I still don't know why you don't get the most basic of basic points. I love PP,Revival,TWD,Hack/Slash, even Punk Rock Jesus now I have read a few more. I can be quite happily positive about those books. This one I'm not. Carry On.Or not. Preferrably not.For everyones sake.

Snipe at my dislike of variants, in fact snipe all you want - I'm actually trying to help some of you - as a person who has seen quite a few "new Turks" type boardies that slink off into the night never to be seen again - and with empty wallets. Make it personal Pie if you want - it will not change the fact that you have paid a silly amount for your book to have a different colour cover. Aided and abetted by ES who saw you coming a mile away. And as he is the creator - its nice for them to have a win for a change. Again done with this - it is what it is - and what it is,is that you are sitting on a pile of stuff you waaaay overpaid for and the market, especially ebay is showing you. Bail while they still have any value left. Thats my last word on the subject. If anyone was making it personal, it was you. Then you have contradicted yourself mate. NWM is pure "Emperors new clothes" material - 3 issues, made famous on here for multi-coloured variants! Nobody not connected with these boards are buying them - no-one! This is all ES hype driven BS and I'm sorry to say too many Lemmings jumped off the cliffs. PP has a surging print Run - over 12K now for #10, thats a solid NON-BOARD growth. You seem to be unable to grasp the difference. PP is a fine story on its own, and has grown accordingly. NWM is not as yet, but may do. But no-one is going to pay $3000 for 10 differrent coloured covers. You will either have 15 (or whatever) books going for a fortune, or 15 for a huge loss. Either way,I don't care as I saw through the haze of BS and bought none. Can we leave this now?

It won't - not a hope in hell - #8 and #9 will ensure a bold secondart market, not to mention a TV show being strongly persued. NWM has a different coloured cover - thats it. However I am selling the PP#1's I have at hand. As soon as the others return from CGC they will be sold as well. I love the book - reaaly do - but with what I get for say 8 #1's - that buys me a beautiful 9.0 - 9.2 DD #1 Thats my only point - in 3 yrs time - a DD #1 will still have value - who knows about PP? I hope it does for everyones sake. NWM - the value won't hold for 3 months! Extra 'con' variants,Larry variant, Pink,Yellow and Black variants etc etc - there will be 10 variants out soon,differentiated by colour only. I wish no-one any financial loss but to be forking out $300 on a variant that Stephenson has said he's giving away 200/500 and the legal one that was 350/850 is nuts! 550/1350 were given away and will all be sold for what the lucky recipients can get - $100 - $80 - $40 - $15? If you miss getting on before pre-sales,don't jump on at the top of the small completionists surge. but an honest

I'd sell them all and put nice folding money in my pocket. List them right now and don't be caught holding the Baby. You paid what - $200 for them (inc CGC'ing) - you can get maybe $600 (don't know what 2 + 3 are doing) so thats a nice tidy profit. Next week,maybe nothing?

Well I'm happy that you are happy - don't forget the Aussie Rules. You could combine it with a signing tour, all 7 shops in a 6 million person City would welcome you with open arms. If they had ever heard of Todd that is. The LCS hereare hopeless - they put their orders in pretty much when previews are released and then can't fill any personal requests. Image would do well to give foreign shops an extra couple of days grace so punters could get their new book requests in to the shops. So thats $300 Fast-Tracked, and then $450 if its a 9.9 - yes? The $450 seems fair,but the $300 well over. Not casting aspersions on Dre or you Krighton, just thats a lot of money to pay for a comic on issue #3 - especially as more variants of #1 are to come - plus the virus probably. Hope it ends well for you, but $300 is 225 pre-sale raws from Midtown. I know which chance I would rather take ( and its not extra East of West before you ask.. (thumbs u )

I've also listed a 9.6 @ $349 - That will be the top 9.6 sale if it happens - 12 watchers.

I just mentioned it because it has taken a long time for #3 prices to climb and board users were saying it was undervalued. Took 7 minutes for mine to sell on ebay earlier today. Plus it just further proves the naysayers wrong. Can you image how much flack I took when I tipped PP 1 as a $500 book some months before it started to rocket! Now its at $800 ish and the 'naysayers' have gone. They will be back though. Anything other than #1 - #9 should be bought for reading only ihmo. $800? Links? Highest I saw was $600. Edit: gpa high is around $668. Pretty sure there was a $775 recently. Mine sold last week for $670 so I don't know where you are getting the info from. The link to it was in the moderns heating up

No, still for sal - I have it priced at $50 odd I think - presents like a good one as well - just want to cover costs etc. I do want it, but only because I want to know why it didn't grade higher. Come on just crack it open and put us out of our misery! Better still YOU buy it and fix it and make some cash...
