  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_(FX_TV_series) I know its Wiki but it says that as of June this year its still on. And from Bendis himself: http://brianmichaelbendis.tumblr.com/post/25622163016/do-you-know-what-the-status-of-the-powers-tv Who knows for sure? Knowing this forum someone will....
  2. Dude your best friend is a porno director!! That is awesome! Hang on, where did you meet your wife??
  3. Well *&%* me..I had never noticed the 'completed sales' icon before. Thanks! So 12 sales between $45 - $50.
  4. No - Ive already got my batch at cover. Its been previously explained by others the dif between sales and listings, but if you feel the need to be the 3rd person to explain it, in an especially patronising manner, and that Australian prices don't count, then fire away. (thumbs u $200,000 for TWD - really?
  5. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/REVIVAL-1-Image-Comics-All-New-Zombie-Horror-SOLD-OUT-FIRST-PRINT-Walking-Dead-/360473612744?pt=AU_Books_Comics&hash=item53ede6d1c8 I understand now the difference (thanks to Hawkman and Fastball) that you guys go on USA listings - I'm in Australia so I guess my prices are skewed. But there it is $20 including shipping for a non-variant. I'll let you know if it sells. I've got 20 copies plus 2 variants myself so i have interest in this myself! But now I know how this place works a bit better - I will stick to 'sales' in future rather than listings. (thumbs u
  6. (thumbs u All good my end as well Hawkman and Fastball! Have a good day!
  7. Fair enough - not wanting to argue either - I guess we can never know what some buy-it-nows have gone for in the past?
  8. I know the difference - but the point is that these sellers have been around for a while - they wouldn't list high unless they thought there was a POTENTIAL market. Nonplayer - all 'asking prices' are $30. As for ToT - I did say they were "on" for $100 in fact one guy want $900 for 3 - I didn't say they were sold. Its a discussion board - if we all agreed it would become very boring very quick - yes?
  9. that's an asking price, NOT a sold price And the asking price 2 days ago was $1.

  12. Yeah - even the unsigned regular cover #1 is hitting $20 on ebay. This, along with P.P. and Saga is going to do really well.
  13. Saga holding around $30 for a NM 1st print #1 Revival listed for $20 already (non-variant) Peter Panzerfaust #1 1st print hardly seen and price up to 15 quid Irredeemable Ant-man - new listings up to $9.95 each from $1 2 days ago. Multiple lots all gone - either sold or removed, I only saw one guy offering 4, and that was from Canada. I assume people have decided that the O'Grady character will be the Ant-Man in question and are reacting accordingly. Fatale, Mind the Gap,Manhattan Projects and Thief of Thieves all holding on to their inflated prices $10 - $25 ish for the 1st print #1 of MTG and Fatale, a little higher for MP, whilst ToT #1 first print is now on for $100 raw in places. This series better be good. Dancer has bombed. The Red Star and New Deadwardians don't have many #1's about which is suprising as the print run was 26,828 and 14,530 respectively. The Red Star movie is an explanation for that comic, but The New Deadwardians might be the next to gather pace... I'm still keeping a look out on Robots v Zombies, Powers (image) and Nonplayer simply because of recent TV/Movie contracts but they still seem to be about the same price.
  14. You lucky, lucky man. In Australia we are lucky to get offered Andrew Lincolns used hair-gel sachet.
  15. The Ben murder and Carls retribution. "It's ok, He'll wake up in a minute. All the rest did" I put the comic down and went for a walk. It was like a punch in the face. A hard one.
  16. The prices on them change every day and will continue jumping around (up and down) for a while. There are a few BINs at half the $30 price you mention. I'm glad I have a couple myself that I will probably get slabbed (if the wait times are ever brought back to normal.) As for future value, there are too many things to predict. There is not a comparable title in my opinion. Fables had a much smaller print run for it's #1, as with YTLM, WD, Invincible, 100 Bullets, etc. Everyone is hoping this becomes a WD and for that reason, there are tons of people sitting on slabbed copies or high grade raws. When WD came out, there was not a super popular, high dollar independent title that would have led to speculation. I want this to be a title, like WD, that I tell friends they have to read and let them borrow my tpbs and wait for them to bring them back so we can talk about it! This series and Batman are the only two books I look forward to picking up monthly right now. I hope Saga keeps it up! I was really happy to see that your Chew #1 ended up being better than advertised. That is always a nice surprise. Question for discussion: do you think that since the OA for this is not available, that the series as a whole will be missing an important group of collectors to help with the overall appreciation of the complete product? I feel like all the aspects of a series should work together to maintain interest and foster a positive environment between creators, fans, collectors, etc. I just wonder if lacking OA will hurt this series in any way. There has to be a few people on these boards who are turned off by this series due to their inability to own OA from it. Thankyou - thats a very nice thing to say.
  17. DUDE!!!! What the hell did those freaky Aussies do to Thors costume?!? Why the heck did they take off his pants??? Aussies like the beach Apparently! Issue #2 they probably had Iron Man in a speedo You should see the issue where Wonder Woman meets the Invisible Girl........
  18. No - according to Comic - Chronicles the pre-sale orders for the First print run of Saga #1 was 37,641
  19. A few people told me I was mad buying a Chew #1 and 5 NM Saga #1 first print s - as you could get them for $5 easily. I only see them making $30 + now. I intend to hold on as i think issues 20 - 30 will dictate if this series becomes a 100+ issue juggernaut or a slow fader... Of course we all hope the former. The #1 first print run was 37,000 - I bet at least 10,000 of them are lost, binned or damaged due to reading (my god, people reading comics!! What next...) so by the time #30 comes out the pool of NM #1's will be even smaller. And no,I'm not related to Nico, I just happen to agree with him regarding this comic! Andy
  20. Thats really sad. Maybe the writers need to hear more of this. However, at work, during surgery - I'm in the health game - when I said I was off to get my walking Dead #100 issues etc etc. Only 3 people out of 12 in the theatre had: A) Heard of the Walking Dead and: B) Only 1 person knew it was based on a comic - and that was the bloody patient!! Seriously - this is a Global Juggernault that has only reached the awareness of 2 - 2.5% of the worlds population. What was AMC's finaly figure for top rating? 5 million? There is a huge bunch of people with some undiscovered Zombie-love out there!
  21. There is a 1:25 variant for PRJ. I disagree re:Peter Panzerfaust but what do I know. I am certain though that Revival, WD inspired or not will be massive. Diff'rent folks and all that I guess... The Vault - I paid $3 for all 3 issues so not bothered either way tbh.
