  1. yup - me. Its called reverse-shilling
  2. Nope,I'm coming onto the boards to gain enough knowledge to buy 100+ copies of titles that go huge and then learn some more. And then more until I have a couple of hundred in the bag before 99% of people have ever heard of them. THEN, I will shamelessly pump them. How about that Bedlam Branget? Oh yeah $99.54
  3. That's completely untrue. It is very entertaining. Even more entertaining is differentiating the speculation sharks from the fish. I completely understand buying a comic for $3 and thinking if it hits great and if it doesn't I read a comic for $3 and liked it. What will dig a hole quick is spending $100+ on 30+ copies and holding them hoping it hits. How many titles can you really afford to do that with? How much of the temporary inflationary market is affect by the group here that does that? Some of the people in this discussion are just here to pump the title and sell some copies, rinse and repeat. If that's your thing hey go for it but don't play all innocent. Be proud of what you do or stop doing it. Pretending to like a title to pump your sales seems a little deceitful to me. I really hope this is my longest post today. Is this aimed at me? The only titles I bought 30+ of were Revival, Saga and Peter Panzerfaust. The only bad choices were 10 x Punk Rock Jesus and less than 10 Dancer. My mistake for mini-series buying. I don't know what your point is but you seem to be bummed about something, maybe Krighton hit home? If you are going to stay in a mood I hope this is your only post of the day...sheesh.... It wasn't but hey if the shoe fits. If you don't know what my point is then perhaps you should read it again. I got the point - thats why I was bemused if it was aimed my way..
  4. You onboard with Bedlam mate? Whats your thoughts?

  6. Nice book (thumbs u Your Sig is not too bad either That is cool... What is it? I only know the regular copy I bought off the stand in high school. Oh, and thank you for the 5 tacos on my book. Promotional for DVD
  7. Which series, DDP or Image? Whatever was on that lame list.
  8. Jerome - I've got the 35 error print. I assume thats the one where the "Wheres Martinez" page is double printed? It is -NM at worst. I cannot see any bends tears or colour breaks and all edges and corners are sharp. Only opened to check for double print error - never read. PM an offer. Going on ebay this week otherwise.
  9. See Hack/Slash is still plodding along too. What suprises me is that the print run for Peter Panzerfaust #3 is only around 4,500. Its sold out pretty much everywhere and already being snapped up on ebay. Is this a marketing ploy to sell larger 2nd and 3rd print runs?
  10. I have to get them back first...
  11. As an aside - just seen the #102 cover - I think the set covers of this arc (non variants) have gone from 'meh' to awesome as each one has been added. I'm going to hate myself but I may just have to get the "Lucille and Nagan" covers set as i think they would look awesome framed. I have officially got man-love for this comic.
  12. I just hope that holds - but looking at HR's upcoming covers, this shows no signs of slowing for the next 6 months anyway. Now Honest question time please: Who has copies at CGC and how many - as I am trying to decide when to market mine. Print Run was 17,000 odd - yes? Be fascinating to see just how boardie driven this is.... I have 27 'A' covers and 3 1:10 variants CGC bound/returning = 30 total.
  13. It was published back in 2005. Same concept as the Image Firsts comics recently put out. It was a trade that reprinted several Image Comics #1's. The Luna Brothers Girls #1 is in there too. The idea was to give people a sample of Image books to gain new readers. I think i've still got a 1/2 dozen of these. I used to give them away as freebies when I sold WD books. Disregard that link. They aren't selling for anything. I'll take a freebie The major drawback is the #1 cover shot is on the inside left of page 1 not the right. It just looks wierd and hard to display if you wanted to.Probably intentional so someone didn't just take the cover off and pretend the contents were a genuine #1.
  14. Anyone else hit up midtown for this one. Sounds bloody good from an established team. I reckon this ongoing will be a smash.
  15. The next biggie (and last this year I reckon) will be Bedlam. I'm hitting midtown for as many 50% offs as I can get.
  16. Nope shes going to get Glenns corpse, use her hithertoo unknown taxidermy skills and carry him around for the next 3 years. In issue #104 she actually attaches a cord to a tape recording inserted in Glenns re-rounded skull cavity, which when pulled, says: "Ma---magg...maggie!" "Yes Dear" "I did the shopping yesterday" "of course I love you" "Have you seen my eye?" Bloody clever that Kirkman bloke.
  17. Just for clarification - what grade would most consider VF and what would people describe as NM being?
  18. There's about 900 apparently. Only like 4 graded. The only 2 cgc 9.6's in existence both sold on eBay last month for $330 each Thanks mate
  19. Just to knock this in another direction - what was the number of #35 misprints? Thats the one where the last page was duplicated,I think? Is it worth more on the open market due to this or is it a ** kinda thing?
  20. How long is the fast-track v normal at the moment? I have a shed-load at,or on their way to joey and wondered what the wait time was.
  21. Not unless Dexter was a sadistic killer of random INNOCENT people who's face was changed by plastic surgery on condition he helped the Police kill anyone they didn't like.* *or people who broke the law...
