  1. Under-priced in my humble opinion - across all budgets (and I appreciate not everyone can drop $1000 or more on a book): Batman #49 - 1st Mad hatter, 1st Vicki Vale, Joker Cover TTA #52 - 1st Black Knight (2nd incarnation - Nathan Garrett) Tec #36 - 1st Hugo Strange Batman #357 - 1st Killer Croc There's a range from a few hundred (TTA #52) - to the deeper end of the pool - Tec #36 All seem like good 'holds' to me - all characters have massive growth potential in the MCU and DCCU
  2. Name names! We want our laughs back! Or, as suggested by Buzzetta and Greggy - if you troll whilst suspended - you get another month. This really is too silly for words - a whole forum altered because some unknown people get upset about something - and then act out.
  3. Lucky I live in Australia it seems - under $500 buying price, and all acquired before 1995 are CGT exempt. Thankfully, thats about 70% of my keepers. Tax on the other 30% - I can live with that. As Per Australian Tax Office: Collectables Collectables include the following items used or kept mainly for the personal use or enjoyment of you or your associates: paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings or photographs; reproductions of these items; or property of a similar description or use jewellery antiques coins or medallions rare folios, manuscripts or books postage stamps or first day covers. A collectable is also: an interest in any of the items listed above a debt that arises from any of those items an option or right to acquire any of those items. You disregard any capital gain or loss you make from a collectable if any of the following apply: you acquired the collectable for $500 or less you acquired your interest in the collectable for $500 or less before 16 December 1995 you acquired an interest in the collectable when it had a market value of $500 or less.
  4. Capital gains tax. On houses - you own it a year, and live in it for a year - no CGT payable. What about comics? Just because i had the foresight to buy say a Tec #66 10 yrs ago - when I sell it, should I have to pay tax on the gains? After 10 years? And of course, 10 yrs ago - no receipts, and any electronic records are long gone. I have quite a few $5000+ books I bought quite some time ago - surely, I don't pay tax on some early ASM I held onto since I was a kid? Any info on capital gains tax would be appreciated.
  5. If this leads into Dr Strange 2 - is that why America Chavez is being introduced in that film? She has to quote Wiki - "interdimensional travel" as an ability, and - is a close friend of Loki. Will this spread across into Thor #3?
  6. Put her on the list and be done. $12 or $12,000 She isn't paying, and has told Rupp to go ahead, put her on the list and pound sand. It's done. Put her on, and move on. If she wants to get off the list when she calms down - it will cost her $12. I don't see why there is any delay here. It's not like there are cheques involved......
  7. At current prices, you can buy a new house in a nice, safe suburb of Perth, Adelaide, Hobart or every major country town in Australia. Life changing for some people. $400,000 USD worth? 9.8 now selling for $3000+ 9.6 for $1000+ Plus variants Congrats, and well played. Very, very well played.
  8. UF #4 9.6 has just jumped the $1000 barrier. Anyone for a 9.4? If a 9.4 hits $1500, then this really is THE blue-chip modern. It already has a $1000 outlier! Walking Dead #1 in 9.4 has an outlier of $2000. It's around the $1300 - $1400 mark in general. With a very small print run compared to UF #4. That's after a long comic run, 3 TV shows potential movie and no free-to-air exposure. And yet, if things carry on, then UF #4 will join it in 9.4 by the end of the year. UF #4 in 9.8, by the end of the month! (TWD is about $3000 - $3500 currently - high of $4500) With an animated movie and a PS5 game. When MM stars in the live action movie - Ultimate Fallout #4 will be the biggest modern we have seen. Congrats to the boardies who are sitting on 100 copies. You know who you are.
  9. Holy Hell It's on Foxtel in Australia I didn't think I'd be able to watch it. AND its dropping as a binge watch. Oh my days. At least 3 sick days on my horizon, about say, oh March 18TH ? This and Army Of The Dead is making Covid lockdown suddenly a whole lot better. F Yeah!
  10. What's the print run (roughly - please no wall-of-text arguments) of UF #4 1st print? Ballpark. When he gets to the big screen - this is Miles.... Really good actor.
  11. This has not aged well I cannot believe this book has now hit pretty much $3000 in 9.8 - for the standard 1st print. I know it's MM - and I thought it would be a modern 'blue chip' - but seriously it's doubled in 14 days. And I still think it's a long-term keeper book.
  12. Back in the good old days when you could call ebay - i spoke to a supervisor. She knew Spire were Christian publishers, and so was happy for me to list it - as an 'anti-nazi' book I've sold 3 without problem. You sometimes just need to get the right person on ebay who isn't just there to tick all the KPI boxes. Good Luck
  13. Sorry Hector - I thought Yorick was going to be Transgendered? I see now it is another mooted character. My bad. Yorick is Cisgendered. Why that has to be announced is a mystery. You are correct though. Thankyou for the correction.
  14. Your logic is worse than your spelling and punctuation. Those quoted prices were prices that were CURRENT LOWS in 2017 and 2018. No time machine needed as all other GPA recorded sales were higher. Too many people leeching in here from facebook. I'm stepping away before I get a week. @Buzzetta
  15. That's a shockingly bad set of decisions based on what you have just written. A 9.4 TOD #10 for $700 (1/3 of $2100) - and you passed? I find that pretty hard to believe tbh. 2017 lowest 9.4 was $1033 2018 lowest 9.4 was $1076 I have no idea why you would leave an easy 35% profit on the table? Any reason?
  16. Except Marvel have already said it's going to be a PG-13 release. I agree - stupid. Blade should be R
  17. Skyrocketing? Its 33 - 50% lower than GPA highs from last year! 9.4 high - $4000 - last sale $2199 9.6 high - $6200 - last sale $4650 9.8 high - $15,000 - last sale $11,500 I'd hate to see your definition of a crash!
