  1. Thanks for the suggestion - How much did removal cost if you don't mind me asking? What would anyone grade it as WITHOUT the sticker - then I can make an informed decision. GPA highs are 8.5 - $140 9.0 - $190 9.2 - $600 9.4 - $745 Newly recognised by SOME as the new 1st Yoda etc, so prices have just shot up recently.
  2. This was in it too Didn't know it was a 'thing' - until someone kindly pointed it out. Love these boards - thanks!
  3. What will the price sticker do? Apparently pre-dates the Comic series - so 1st Yoda, Boba Fett - is this correct? I was thinking 9.0 / 9.2 but I honestly have no idea what the sticker will do Thanks peeps
  4. I couldn't find this asked and answered, so apologies if its elsewhere. Anyone know the 1st print numbers for Ultimate Fallout #4 please? Interested as there are nearly 9000 on the census (including a 3.0) - I was wondering the % of books printed vs Slabbed numbers (obviously some will be slabbed elsewhere) Thanks in advance.
  5. You got that as well! https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/superhero/detective-comics-27-dc-1939-cgc-fn-65-cream-to-off-white-pages/i/800098758.s?ctrack=3047058&type=bodylink-1-comic-special-commarket-detec27-tem012221
  6. TTA #44 seems very cheap still to me. The Wasp has been in hundreds and hundreds of comic book issues, cover of Avengers #1 - TTA #44 is in itself a cool cover. Leader of Avengers West Coast and 2, soon to be 3, MCU films. Still seems way under-valued for a character that's been around constantly since 1963. You can get a mid-grade for under $1000 right now. I get that she's not an 'A' grader - but that still seems crazily cheap to me. I only have a single copy - a 7.0, but am thinking of upgrading. Thoughts people?
  7. I spectacularly sold my 8.0 FF #5 just before the pop. Like literally a month before. Epic fail
  8. All grades over 9.0 are going beserk. The difference is that this book has a solid character that will be around for quite some time. The variant - yeah - cray-cray $$ The normal 1st print has along, long way to go. I mean, a 9.4 has sold for $1000 and a 9.8 for over $1500 Only 8800 slabbed currently (of course that will go up and up - there's already a 3.0) but this book has LEGS. 12 months time, who knows where the prices of this book will be. If anyone saw the Netflix show 'Sex Education' with Gillian Anderson - the guy who played 'Eric' - he's gotta be the guy they cast when MM gets to the big screen. This generations AF #15
  9. Christ that's bad 227 Cinema screenings attended by a total of 913 people. Word of mouth I guess. People seem to be happy to wait until streaming prices drop or even shown for free with your package. I wonder if WW84 will be offered to other platforms to gain more viewers? $10,000 over 29 days.......
  10. Someone stole the 1st one - $610 USD The other is at $610 already. The first guy had a heap of places he wouldn't sell to. Be interesting to see if that is a factor. He wouldn't ship to Australia - I'd have happily paid more than $610.
  11. 2 x Vengeance #1 CGC 9.8 auctions finishing today + 2 days time - GPA high of $790+ Interesting to see how they go.
  12. Can't this topic go here? https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/forum/19-comics-market-sales-advertising-ebay-dealers-etc/
  13. Response to one of my ads. Big ol' box of utter drek very, very badly damaged. I did see a couple of possibilities so I paid the grand sum of $30 and took them. It would be no exaggeration to say I have just thrown 90% of them in the bin! I did find a couple of nice books though. FYI - The Last 30c Star Wars #1 in low grade were $125 USD for 4.0 and $200 USD for 4.5 So for $30 for #1 - #6 (plus the other books) even in rough order - a good result
  14. These will be a grind to sell - but TPB's and GN's sell - eventually... Couple of different vendors. 120 Marvel Hardback GN 60 DC Hardback GN Roughly 100 assorted TPBs, comics and GN's Probably take a year, but they will go eventually!
  15. We live in what real estate agents (realtors) call an 'up and coming' area. Steadily being gentrified. So when a new courier guy arrived to pick-up a $1500 parcel (Batman #121) I asked where our regular guy of 4 years was. Poor guy got attacked whilst delivering parcels, assaulted and had his van stolen - still full of parcels. We have known him for ages, really nice pleasant little guy - always helpful, always smiling. He wasn't badly hurt thankfully - but a timely reminder to insure EVERY parcel as you don't know what may happen. Quite shocked tbh as we thought those sort of things had stopped in this neighbourhood years ago. Just wow.
  16. I wondered if he was a 'super Artificial Intelligence' - to allow room for Control to maybe re-appear. That's a typical Frakes 'never learn from your mistakes' classical move!
  17. Annnd we're finished. Being too heavy on 'feelings' again detracted from some very good special effects, and a reasonably satisfying ending, with the plot firmly laid out for season 4. However, what could have been great , finished being just okay. Which is quite a shame really. Ep 13 6.5 / 10 Season 6/10 Nice finishing touch with Lt Sahil.
  18. Despite Frakes returning to the directors seat - and bringing some truly cringe inducing 'Frakes favorite storylines' - it's an improvement on the last few. For some reason Osira now speaks as if she is in the British Royal Family, and Burnham really, really is the queen of McGuffins in this one. Don't get me started on the 'lie-detector' - it's truly embarrassing (Poor old Oded Fehr had to act alongside it - you could see the WTF on his face!) And of course, 'feelings'. However, the action ramps up, special effects are good - and lovely twist at the end. There's still hope for this season yet. 7 /10
  19. I think you are 100% correct. The stories are so far apart that it's frustrating to watch. I would imagine reading the books afterwards would be different. That way the expanse 'universe' grows, not contracts. If I hadn't read the books I'd probably feel the same.
  20. It had to. The whole point of the protomolecule was the formation of the gate. Then introducing the sphere. Then the other worlds. Then Laconia. The 1st MRCN v UN war was cut so short it actually missed otherwise the whole of books 6,7,8 and 9 can't happen. I know I'm behind, but I really hope they FULLY explain what / who Miller is, and why he's doing what he does. I'm on Season 4 ep 2 and they have explained sweet FA. I hope the New Terra arc focuses on Miller / waking stuff up, and not the nutty security chief. I'm honestly at the stage where the show is such a let-down compared to the books, I wish I hadn't started watching They even changed the 'terrorist' explosion of the 1st ship on New Terra - the security force from the mining company was on a second ship. The Roci arrived months later - long after things got way out of hand between groups - So many good scenes have been sacrificed to fit in the Priest, and more Ashford, leaving out swathes of stuff affecting Bobbie , Fred Johnson, Havelock and Clarissa. They are going to have to shoehorn so much stuff from earlier books in to make sense of I guess I'm just frustrated that the show, that was so hyped, is nowhere near as good as the books. So far, anyway.....
